A Nifty Idea! But might consume time...

..

thats cool.. i didnt even think you'd find that.. if its a 3rd party program by a single person (not a company) try emailing that person and requesting the idea directly to him/her.. if he/she finds it interesting enough it may convince them..

good luck..

FFXItool have a lot of parts. a DAT viewer that eads the .DAT files for items etc. a model viewer that lets you view NPC's, armours, poses etc. the map viewer that lets you view the levels and "walk around" in them, a BGM player that plays the music in FFXI, and also soudn effects, and a HEX viewer that reads the .DAT files and displays them in hexadecimals (good for finding mob ID's etc.)

Sadly, the creator is japanese, and it haven't been updated in a very long time XD

Either way, I think it's a great idea ^^ I'd also like a model viewer that plays weapon skill animations (with sound and animation... not just the motion <.<) and magic/ability animations (once again, with sound).

This all sounds quite interesting indeed. Anyone have any links to these files?

I sort of made an "Episode" of adventures on Quetzalcoatl.

Namely, Loveless' Dynamis - Xarcabard run.

I made it quite nicely too. I just need to encode it and turn it into an actual file.

Just when I was about to do that however, the W32.Blaster Worm Virus came
back and snatched up my brand-new PC.

I've removed this virus before, but it's fucking annoying that I have to contend with this damnable virus again.

Oh well...

...Oh yeah. On my PC I'm having connectivity issues. Oddly enough I can still play Final Fantasy XI, and run the mIRC program, but I can't connect with MSN Messenger, any FTP clients, or use the Internet Explorer web browser...

I have open ports, but it's... I don't know "being selective"....

I'm only talking to you right now 'cause I'm at my friend's house.

(...As for that offer for the ore, Palasin. I'll have to see.)

In any case, back to the original topic.

Send any links to FFXITool or any other programs. This might be an interesting concept.

And for that FFXI video. I'll upload that soon enough.
