Well, the night began when a lv 50 whm in my LS asked for help with G1. When an awesome Warrior, Itachiii, and I inquired as to what items, he replied with, "Umm...all of them, lol".
We agreed to help him out after we finished up our things. I found him in jueno...wearing only a Tunic. Lv 50, just a tunic. Apparently he had quit the game thinking he wouldn't return but was now broke as a joke and almost naked. So I hooked him up with some decent gear for lv 50, which should last him to his AF clothes. Then two other members in our LS logged on asking about G1 help, since we'd promised to help them whenever we had free time. We told them to saddle up just as a lv 38 Blm, Sealittle, logged on and asked what was going on. We told him and he asked to tag along.
We went into CN for the mold and got it after almost close to an hour. Wasn't too hard except when things might aggro and link...like crazy.
We then headed to the Citadel and only needed 4 bomb coals and ended up with something like six, heh. So that was fairly easy.
Now the part everyone dreads. The paper. I zone into the the necropolis after the whm (Hardcoretaru) and thf (Famke) get there...see them getting owned by two skeletons. I dash in as quickly as I can and voke one off the whm but the other one still kills him as I flash him. He says he'll just choco back and HPs. The war gets there and we handle the skeletons like child's play. I lay some warnings out about the place and rules to follow...and the warrior gets aggro from two lichs and a fallen one (cant remember exact name...knight?) I catch up to him and voke the knight off of him, but didn't notice the Lich casting Tornado. He's gets smoked and the two lichs despawn.
And then the thf gets there to help but aggros hounds and ends up getting killed just as I kill the knight. I had voked a hound....so now they were after me. Long story short....I ran, found the other whm in our pt, turned around, and killed those bitches with his help.
After we regrouped, we pulled our first Lich. I had to play with the doors cuz some jackass kept screwing with them, but when I almost returned to the first camp, they killed it...and the paper dropped. First kill. We were psyched, but felt our luck would run out there and it would be another hour or two before another one dropped.
We run around, kill lichs and knights and the occasional aggro for the next 45 min....and another paper drops! One more! But we still felt we were gonna hit a wall.
Not 30 mins passed...and as we were handling some aggro and Lich problem (I was saving the whm cuz he forgot to sneak himself after sneaking everyone else, lol), the warrior takes on a lich, which came pretty close to killing everyone fighting it, and the paper drops again! We weren't there two hours and we got three drops!
Obviously, they had an abundance of paper and felt like giving some away, or we were just too much ownage in a single party for them to not give us what we seeked.
Oh, and this part is funny. On the 2nd drop, we decided to let the thf have it for sure since she had died like...3 times during the G1 farming and always had the crappiest lots. Here's her secured lot:
Needless to say, we took a tiny break cuz we were laughing so hard.
And that my friends, was a great night of ownage.
