Hi Everyone,

As many of you already know, Sculli has been immensely busy with things going on in the real world and has decided to pass the reigns of leadership to me.

So lets see ... what can I tell you about myself?
I enjoy long moonlight walks ... er..... wait, where was I? Nevermind.

Well I guess to start, I've been involved with a number of different online communities over the last 7 years and I am a co-admin over at www.shinraonline.com. SO is a general chat forum with a final fantasy theme behind it thats been around for about 6 years now.

I'm fairly laid back and easy going on most things but I am also very goal oriented and I get things done.

I'm a big fan of the Final Fantasy game series, RPGs and gaming in general. Do I play FFXI? I had to go to three stores to find a copy on the day it was released and I played for about a year and a half. It was a little frustrating in the begining getting killed by bunnies but ultimately an MMORPG like this requires ALOT more time than I was able to give to it so no, im not an active player at the moment. If anyone has a few extra days in the week they can spare me - please hit me anytime. :)

On a side note, I actually am a vegatarian but I can cook a pretty damn good steak, LOL.

So what are the plans for the site? In the short term, I'd like to keep things status quo. In the long term, I hope to facilitiate the growth of the community. Naturally there are a million little details that go along with that and I'll share some more as my ideas flesh out.

Are there any plans for adding new staff to the site? I'm always open to bringing aboard the right people with the right talents to help take things to the next level. I also like to pull talent from within the community itself whenever possible. As for the current staff, I have no intentions of removing anyone and I look forward to working with them, and you, in the weeks ahead.

I think thats it for the moment. If you have any specific questions for me - feel free to post here, to send me a PM or to reach me on aim.

Caio,

John

Respect +20 points if you make that your icon.

Actually, gonna make it +10. Just realized the R's remind me of Korn.

Idle convo, and a shot in the dark - Guessing you're vegetarian by choice? I don't eat meat myself but only because it makes me virtually deathly ill when I do. I miss pepperoni...

I stopped eating meat when I was 5 ... I turn 27 in September. I wish I could go back to eating it but its been way to long.

i eat meat 24/7 lol got left over lamb in my hand from this afternoon :3

Glad to hear from you Reeve. Give it time, you'll eventually be accepted by the community. We're like one of those schools you see on TV with all the problem children starting fights and whatnot, but once you win us over we're pretty cool.

As long as you like hot pockets *even if their just the 'four-cheese' hot-pockets* then your good in my book.

Nice to meet you. Beware the trolls...

Those were the best kind!

While I was obviously one of the more vocal ones to question Sculli's decision (and still find it highly questionable), it was nothing personal. So welcome.

Nice to meet you. Are there any salad-type or vegitarian recipes that you could recommend? ;p

Hrm.. Are you a day time or night time person?

As for the mods, I only know Aly and Ele personally. They are great and funny people. Hope you will enjoy working with them.
