Hey all, been gone for a few days, but I got my reasons why, its been a crazy 4 days, and tonight will be the last night of this insanity, hopefully things will quiet down after this, but its been a fun week! :lol:
This is a long one, not terribly exciting, but had to share it...
Thursday Night: I'm working at my game store with one of my fellow friends when a FedEx delivery man comes in with 8 boxes. Now, we already had our assumptions on what the delivery could be, but we verified it when we opened the boxes in the back, our shipment of Halo 2 copies had arrived! After a quick call to the store manager, and getting the okay, we decided after work all of the employees would come over, hook up the Xbox, and have a Halo 2 multiplayer killfest till 1am. On top of that, it was my cousins birthday, so we invited him over to try it out for a bit, and celebrate his birthday. The day would have been perfect except for one thing....
I lost my wallet. And it wasn't something small either, I'm talking credit cards, close to 300 dollars in there, bus pass, and all my ID's were in there. So I had to franticly call all the possible locations where I could have dropped it, and luckily it turned up at a garage where buses go to get repaired in their lost and found. I went and unfortunately all my money and bus pass were gone, but I had all my ID's and I deactivated my credit card and now getting a new one sent to me. The money I knew would be gone, but I was glad that they did not throw away some of the personal items I had in there, it just sucks I got no credit card for a couple days. Overall not a terrible day
Friday: Work is finishing up, me and my co-workers decide to have another Halo 2 night, and to top it all of, we decide whats better than Halo 2, then a strip joint! So after the 4 of us play Halo 2 screwing at the top of our lungs about cheap kills, shotgun shells to the face, and being impaled by the new Covenant sword, we decide to go on our way to the strip place.
Now this place is a Juice bar, they have no liquor license, so its BYOB. We decide to grab some Smirnoff Ice, Guiness (my choice, no one else likes it
), and Black Haus. The trip shouldn't take us too long, but then something has to fuck us over, traffic. And not just some small traffic jam, I'm talking like 4 lanes are now 1 and it strecthes for miles. By the time we get to the place we only have 30 minutes to enjoy ourselves. We quickly bring in a few drinks, and sit down and enjoy ourselves. All of a sudden, this female grabs the attention of me and one of my co-workers. Right before I'm about to get up, my friend gets up first and talks to her, one of the hottest strippers in the place. He takes her to the back for a lap dance and I'm there drinking solo for a bit since everyone else got there lap dances also. The place starts closing up, stools are being taken away, girls are off the floor, all the while I'm thinking "FUCK, 1 second sooner and I would be back there!"
All of a sudden my friend comes back with a huge smile on his face. Say no more, I make a dash for the back and I go with her, screw that, I didn't come here to just drink some Smirnoff Ice. Well, without getting too much into detail (I got some teeth marks on me and nail marks) I will say that was the best lapdance I ever had. :twisted:
So afterwards we go out to IHOP to talk about the whole experience and just goof around. I go back home smelling like booze, some smoke, and buttermilk pancakes. :roll:
Saturday: Determined to make up for last nights quick finish, we decide to skip the Halo 2 fest and go back to the same strip joint earlier and party all night. So we're about to leave, when we find out one of us can't make it, kinda sucks, but it happens. No fear, we'll invite another co-worker to join us in the fun. Now there was one problem, our new friend has no ID. We hope that they won't ID him, because last night they didn't, and just hope nothing goes wrong. We get to the place (at an awesome time, no traffic this time) and finally can bring in all the liquor we bought before. Me and my friend go in first, while the other 2 quickly catch up. Me and my friend grab some seats while we wait for them, and have 1 or 2 drinks.
Then it happens, one of our friends walks in without the other one, we knew it, he couldn't get in without an ID, even though he was old enough. The bouncer would not let him through. So we decide, lets just drink quickly, get one or two dances, and leave, he's in the car waiting during this time. One of my friends already goes for the VIP room, he's gonna be spending a shitload this night, but enjoy himself. I spot another girl this time, and I tell my friend from the previous night that I got first dibs. Take her to the back, another good lapdance (but nothing like Friday nights
) and come back. My friend tells me his sucked, he wants a refund, LOL. So I tell him about my girl, and he goes for her. Now we got 1 guy in the VIP room, another 1 in the lapdance room, I'm drinking heavily near the show floor, and 1 friend alone in the car. By the time my friends come back from the VIP and lapdance rooms, over an hour has passed and I'm getting drunk and having the time of my life.
I had decided before hand not to take too much money because I knew if I drank too much I would spend too much, but by that time I didn't care, I wanted to go to the VIP room. So I went to the front desk and asked if I could use my credit card to buy some "tokens" to use for extra lapdances and anything else. They swipe my card and then I see it....
DECLINED. FUCK, I had deactivated my credit card since I had lost my wallet awhile ago, so, no extra money for my that night. I used all the left over cash I had for some more lapdances from the same chick and drank the most out of everyone. By the time we were done the place was closing again, and we had completly forgotten our coworker. We felt terrible afterwards, so we promised him the time of his life next time we go there, we owe him bigtime for waiting for us the whole time, we felt like total pricks. So after stumbling up the stairs back home and passing out on my bed still in my work clothes, I called it a night.
Sunday Overslept the next morning, I was suppose to open the store, but I was late an hour, no biggie, just some money out my pocket. Nothing big happened that whole day till near closing. My friend is working near the cash register when we recieve a phone call. A customer wants to check his account and see if he has any store credit to use or something like that, sure, no problem. We ask whats the phone number on the account, and he procedes to say MY OWN CELLPHONE NUMBER. My friend puts him on hold and asks if I know anything about this, I got no clue who this could be. We ask whats the name on the account, sure enough, he states my FULL NAME and ADDRESS. So I ask him, who am I speaking to right now? He says he's me. Which is fucking hilarious cause I'm talking to him. So I ask him how he could be me when I'm WORKING THERE YOU FUCKING MORON. He shuts up, and quickly hangs up the phone. Well, I freak out a bit and check my purchase history, sure enough, someone has been trying to use my employee discount and was trading shit in for storecredit and purchasing new stuff.
Now this really doesn't matter, since I rarely have store credit, it doesn't effect my account in anyway at the moment, but he could have potentially screwed me. So now I'm going to review the security tapes and see who it was that tried to pull this off, the made purchases 3 days ago, so I can check the time on the receipts and see the tapes. Honestly, I don't even know if I should take legal action or something, just the fact that some stranger has that much info on me is sorta disturbing, I'm still thinking about it now.
Monday: And tonight is the official night of Halo 2, which means work until 3 am, not gonna be a fun night, but busy as all hell. right now I got an exam, then its off to work, I know something is going to happen, we dont have enough copies to hand out to all the preorders, can't wait to see what happens, I'll update this tomorrow once it happens.
