nah, i dont have an HD player yet, but i know the guy who did!

whats amazing here is that an exploit discovered for the xbox 1 on the tail end of its life span became a domino effect for other medias to come.
This guy flashed the xbox 1 firmware with a hacked firmware, making back ups playable without a modchip, It was so late in the xbox 1's life and 360 was on its way out so M$ didnt care or take note.
This exploit became how the 360 is hackable and backups are playable, even online which xbox 1 you could not play backups onlne without getting banned.
It then followed suit and became the eventual reason this protection was cracked, i love it!
 
i dont know which was faster....cracking the dvd protections or this...both were done pretty fast lol
 
HD has had some time on the market yes, but blue ray hasnt been out that long at all, and cracking HD cracks blu ray, both formats cracked = 's OH SHIT for M$ and $ony, looks like ill be picking up the 360 HDDVD player (cheapest one on the market currently) and flashing that, i flashed my 360 last week and it works like a charm, this is gettin awesome on the scene latley lol

So did you take into account the price on a new HDD or did you soft it so you can still access live? And why would you even do that if you have a half way decent PC? I don't know about you but my buddy has had HDDVD rips for about 2 months now and let me tell you on a 37" LCD the movies look goddamnfantastic.

dont need a new HDD for anything, The way 360 is hacked is kinda soft hack by flashing the dvd drives firmware, you can restore it to its original state at anytime. you can still access live with or without a stealth patch and it looks like your playing the original. My PC is just great, but im the kind of person who cant stand watchin a movie on a pc screen for some reason, i just gotta have it on a tv lol. I dont know why ive just always been that way, thats why i love being able to stream movies from pc to xbox so i can watch em on tv without a hassle.
 
Maybe you missed the part where I said my buddys "screen" is a 37" widescreen LCD. Yeah I never really cared to hack 360 because 99% of the games are so glitched that you don't need too lol. Hence my unlocking of every gun on RS:Vegas as a "private"...Well let me tell you, some "Elite" on that game started to notice. My only comeback for them is that they are Countdown faggots, and guess what^^^^^^ Ubi fixed the Countdown glitch, yet mine is still brandy baby!!!

In anycase though, do you got Linux on 360 yet? Because I would like that yet all the goofballs I know are being fags about it.

no linux hack yet because the info we need to get this stuff is stored somewhere on the motherboard, as of right now we arent exactly sure where or what decryption it uses, i believe Team-xecuter is hot on the trail and probly will get it done before anyone does, they...usually do lol.
and its not just the 360 thats glitched, youll find stuff like that on every system lol.
i hacked mine cause im only buying games i want and downloading the ones i wouldnt have bought anyway.
 
Yeah, I think MS designers looked at the Xbox/linux soft mod and found a good way to counteract it. In anycase though it will only be a matter of time before the key is found.
 
yeah im certain they will find it, I mean look at the 360 dashboard, ALOT of features from the linux mod and some homebrew stuff (XBMC) appear in the official dashboard, that proves they looked at the mods and did something with it, in hopes to keep people from hacking it, hell they even seem to hope XNA will stop it (but at 99$ a year and everyone needing to know how to code to do it, fuck that)

by the way, ps3 has been hacked already too, im not sure what that means in the terms of homebrew yet but piracy will be jumping soon in the ps3 world...hell, it was even easier than the 360 was from what i hear
