I put a spoiler incase someone hasn't seen Dark Knight, and if you haven't... WTF

Spoiler:
Aaron Eckhart Won't Be Returning to Batman, Because His Character is Dead

CS/SHH!: Is Harvey Dent alive? Aaron Eckhart: No. He is dead as a door nail.

CS/SHH!: So he's not coming back?
Eckhart: He ain't coming back baby!

CS/SHH!: I was hoping he would.
Eckhart: No. I asked Chris [Nolan] that question and he goes, "You're dead" before I could even get the question out of my mouth. "Hey Chris, am I?" "You're dead!" Alright, cool.

CS/SHH!: That's not a problem in comic book movies. You could still come back.
Eckhart: I think in contract negotiations it's a problem.

CS/SHH!: So you were never signed on for another film?
Eckhart: No, I'm not coming back. I think unfortunately, Heath [Ledger] was supposed to go on and that didn't work out. I'm nobody. I'm a cog. I have no say over this sort of stuff.

Spoiler:
Well, that is a little disappointing. I thought he was only supposed to look dead.

I'm with Tagrineth.
Spoiler:
this is bullshit

It could easily be a ploy to throw everyone off as well.

Everyone should go read the links I posted in the dark knight thread.

It most likely is not.

Spoiler:
Well if you think about it, if Harvey had lived, he would've continued on his path for revenge, making all of what Batman and Commissioner Gordon had done to keep Gotham City in some order all for naught. It makes me wonder how they will handle the eventual 3rd film.

Btw I feel like we can stop talking in spoilers now. Its been 7 weeks. If someone hasn't seen the dark knight by now, boohoo.

It seems to me that they will continue to do what the first series did; introduce other members of the rogue gallery. The movies are easily better but they keep following the same trend (other than the original Batman): two villains per movie.

I think that the spoilertags were because this article had come out fairly recently. Yeah, the film's been out a while but I think Hito was following the sparse guidelines correctly.

Doesn't matter to me either way lol

Also; they never ever used the same villains twice, and I feel that will be the same with this series too. Maybe I'm wrong.

Actually they used Scarecrow twice, but he had an extremely minor role in The Dark Knight. He was only on screen for like, what, 5 minutes or less maybe?

That sooooo doesn't count.

That doesn't count, the whole five seconds of Scarecrow was such crap. Worst part of the movie.

I'm officially declaring my love for Aaron Eckhart now. Hopefully now everyone will finally shut the hell up and accept that Dent is dead. Because he is. He's dead. Get over it.

I thought the worst part of the movie was the dude that said out no where "Have a nice trip, see you next fall.".

You mean BEST PART!

I'm done using spoiler tags for this movie :P

For those who still don't believe that dent is dead, heres an excerpt from the script of The Dark Knight.

As my guideline goes, spoiler tags are seriously unnecessary at this point. It's only for things like movies or shows that are *very* recent. Hell with shows I'd venture that spoiler tags aren't needed once the next sequential episode airs. Stuff like articles would be retarded to spoiler about.

oh and I told you so.
