about other sky ls ..not following some rule!!

Never heard of any rule about not taking a NM just because it is below 5%. Back in the day if a shell was in position and claimed a NM in sky it was theirs and other shells would even allow them to raise and fight again if they wiped. The few shells that didn't follow these rules were treated as scum.

Sadly, that day is long gone. Once a substantial proportion of the sky community refused to respect others then it became an anarchy.

You're absolutely right. It's a squabble between a few adolescents (or adults who act like adolescents, which amounts to the same thing) over a thoroughly inconsequential matter. If you want the respect of intelligent people, it generally helps to at least *try* to act like one yourself.

I wish I could remember his name, he is the one person in you ls i have respect for for this action, He was a pld, name started with a C.

My friends and I farmed sky for only a few weeks, and these are two instances I can think of off the top of my head. If you treat them as you treated us, I don’t blame them for not giving you the stone.

Its absoloutly AMAZING how the initial presentation of the first post can make or break the persons credibilty on the flameboard. Because it was a wall of text no one gave the poster any sort of respect and people side against him on the simple principle, that if a person is incable of stringing together a coherent paragraph he must be wrong.

1. People have in fact responded to the concept he was talking about, with opinions to the tune of "you wiped, it was fair game, the end".

2. Yes, impressions based on how you present yourself *do* matter, particularly first impressions. If a representative of an LS gives the impression of, as you say, being incapable of stringing together a coherent paragraph, then it's not too big a logical jump to think they might not be too good at stringing together a competent linkshell either. Considering that paragraphs are way easier to organize than linkshells. :P

Can some one please teach Summoners to speak English? I mean, the guy lives in Wisconsin, damnit, not some sweat-shop based town in Shanghai. Summoners, if you want some respect, please learn how to spell the word, and then use it in a sentence correctly...
My god, I almost want him to HAVE an auto-translate button so I can at least decipher that sandskrit piece of shit that he wrote...

If you type like a five year old, you will be treated as one. Lacking typing skills is no excuse. It's 2007. If you are 40 years old and above I can understand, but with this day and age the youth should have no problems typing.

Try sending an employer a resume with chicken scratch on it. See where they think your credibility stands.
 
Try killing zip with a group of 2-4 people without kiting it, then come back and talk to me.
 
MG doesnt really seem like something you can run in with a small group grab and take down in a hurry before another shell can get to it, it seems to work best with preperation and a large number of bodies. At least that seemed to work when my shell did it. Of course I am am still new to Sky and may not know all the tricks to a sucessful victory.
 
Kron hit the nail on the head. A major problem in sky right now is the fact that theres too many damn sky shells up there with a massive total of 15-18 people in the entire shell period. Someone doesn't want to wait for haidate or osode so they make a shell that lasts all of 3 months and puts themselves first on the tiers for w/e they want. Hell you people don't even bother to check to see what shells normally sky farm in times slots and just go when theres already 4-5 shells up there. I think its hularious how the leaders fail to communicate, you'll be doing kirin and in 1 hour 3-4 shells will run through thinking they're doing kirin that night also. I can see communication being a problem I guess, in the time I've posted this message 3 more sky shells were formed with 10 different people.

As for summoners, your ls wiped man and I understand you're upset about that, but all of your members were dead. Coming to this board to post and whine about a ls "stealing" a unclaimed nm AFTER you've wiped tells me your shell lacks a leader with good judgement, I'd be embarrased to be in a shell with your pearl right now. If I was in a ls with a admitted rmt helper, I'd evaluate myself and if I couldn't do better then I'd seriosly quit the game lol.

Killed zip with 4 no kiting, nin whm blm blm, nin voked, blms went nuke > stun > zone > nuke > stun > zone > nuke > stun > dead zip.

Stealing a NM means you had claim and had a chance at killing it, but someone took advantage of a member without blockaid or a bug caused it to go unclaimed. You jumped the gun and claimed before you were ready because you thought the other ls was about to claim, and wiped. You can be pissed all you want about it, but you shouldn't be pissed at the other ls.

Agreed. Even worse is that there's so many people making/joining these new LSes with the expectations that they'd get get so much faster, when in fact they'd just be better off joining an elder LS who's beginning to not need much of the god drops anyhow. Not calling new shells incapable or something, just saying that you're putting forth a lot more work than you needto if you're doing the "starting from scratch" route.
 
I wasn't upset cause of wiped lolz, yall miss understand the whole thing ...
I said, if my shell was there and mg was at 1% hp, I would give the stone back to other ls..Think of how they were fighting so hard just to try get the stone and wiped at the very end at 1%hp left..come on..show some love there.. Plus, don't think my shell can't killed it..we have about 35+ people.. That night, we have one pld show up only..I wasn't upset the fact we wiped out..I put this discussion down cuz with the fact of mg ony have 1%hp left.. I would never take that stone ..I would give to back to the other ls that was wiped.. But I guess many other ls doesn't give it back.. Lolz, can't believe many people don't understand the concept of being kind no more... Well, if you don't like it then try to be a little understandable..
anyway, dam just a game..just that we all play in the game. With respect to everyone..If I was in a situation like that..I would give the stone back..but that just my thoughts..guess everyone is different..The only LS I have seem that don't take the stone at 1-5%hp was Eptomie and some other shell, forgot their name.. Yea. thanks though..our shell will follow as other showing good example of being kind. Well, time to drop now...Lets just end the discussion now..

One more thing, english is my second language..

I didnt grew up here..I moved here when I was 13 years old..my english and spelling would be different from anyone. Sorry, sometime I type too fast, might miss spell some words.

You wiped to mother globe you couldn't have been fighting that hard it takes less than a pt to kill. None of the sky nms are a hard fight. If you wipe to the mob you don't deserve the drops you lost the fight. Would you have felt better if they let it regen to 100% and killed it?
