About the gods

I thought Sky and Sea were kinda like the Zilart "Promised Land"

Zilart's promised land is Vana'diel turned into a crystal, which is what Tu'lia was for. Activating it, the Gate of the Gods, would cause some freaky zilart thing to transform all of Vana'diel into a land suitable for the gods, and thus the zilart promised land. Sea, Al'taieu, is where the zilart used to live. Think Jeuno, but after a big explosion that knocked it into a different dimension.

I am still on ZM4 and CoP 2-3? So all I have to go on is guesswork lol.

I thought it was the crstal and when it smashed came the races, well i skipped most of ZM CS and just read them in the data files lol

Arent there land gods too? Isnt the Turtles in the Valley of Sorrows and those "Manifest" Beastmen apart of the polytheism? Not that it matters to me... I just wanna go beastkitty on that turtle and make him give me that aquarium abjuration >^.^<m.

I just love the mobs who give speaches. Especially stuff like Kirin says that sounds like a flowerly version of "omg you pwnz me" (sorry if I spell that wrong.. not used to text speach yet)

Kinda yes and kinda no... Adamandoise/Behemoth/Fafnir arn't really gods, they're Kings. Just really freaking powerful mobs, strongest of the strong. The beastmen 'gods' are just their old kings, if you look in the Vana'diel Tribune articles on them. I'd assume they achived a god-like state or something, but yea, they're just yet more uber-powerful mobs. If anything, it's reincarnation, not polytheism, despite the speech they give when they spawn. Only Kirin's friends are actual gods. And Absolute Virtue / Promathia, but that should be obvious. <.<
