Absolute Virtue

No, no, no, the weapons would be impossible to solve puzzle not AV. If there was a "charge" effect then there would be a latent on the weapon, there is not. I'm sorry but SE would never put a system with a hidden latent that work by killing 1 family of mob or killing nm's in a entire different zone, the entire idea is off the wall. The ks/trial weapon has a rezeta stone it called the latent on the weapon. Quest have a rezeta stone it the cs that pretty much tell you where to go. Pop mobs have a rezeta stone it the ??? where you have to pop them and that they can be data mined.
It's the rosetta stone, first off. If you're going to make references to something, spell more than half of the word correctly.

Second, listing a latent effect isn't a "rosetta stone," because it doesn't tell you how to trigger the effect, only that there is one. You're not spelling the word right and then you're not even using it correctly to boot.

Third, there are plenty of hidden effects on gear in the game; while the effect of killing a certain type of enemy to unlock the gear is a little far-fetched, it's not entirely unthinkable. All it would be is a combination of several conditions that have been around for years. There's weapons that only have their additional effects kick in on certain types of mobs, the KS weapons need a certain number of ws; conversely, there are at least two quests that require you to kill xxx number of mobs with a specific weapon. It's not a likely combination, but it's still perfectly possible.

I also find it ironic that you're perfectly fine with datamining now to get what you want, even though you were calling that a cheat a few months ago.

There however is no hidden effect gear that is "unlockable" Yes there thing like element staff or carbie mitts, divisor ring where when a certain situation is met the will react, but none that are "unlockable by killing x mobs."

I even said that the bolded part was possible, I never said that the weapons don't have a hidden effect just that it not a "unlockable" effect.

Actually I never mention data mining, only thing I made a point of was parse, you and rest of your kaizin buddies was the one that brought that and dang near everything else up. heck the only reason I even brought up in the first place is because crosis was so high in mighty that he don't cheat, and that he was some kinda saint. The fact that pissed you off was just a bonus.

I see...

Funny how you mention all these other things that were the first of their kind, and yet can't imagine that SE would release another thing that's a conglomeration of previously available effects (unlockable additional effect that only procs on one target).

And the point goes over your head yet again, not surprised. No, there hasn't been a weapon with an unlockable hidden effect, but it wouldn't be hard for them to create one, hell the specific mechanics are already in the game, they just haven't used them yet. That's where I called it far fetched, because it's not likely to happen, but unlike you I'm smart enough to know it's perfectly possible.

As far as my "kaizen buddies," which you still couldn't spell right, everyone except for uzor was calling you a dumbass for saying a parser was a cheat and he was only supporting you because he was bored and wanted to argue. If you didn't include datamining in your list of so-called "cheats," then you're an even bigger idiot than I thought you were; because that is accessing information that you're not supposed to have access too, it's worse than datamining. You didn't even win the argument, you just spouted off horribly mis-spelled idiocy that was riddled with holes and thought just by posting you were winning. But since you can't understand concepts or even spell above the 2nd grade level, don't worry about it.

Again if there was said effect it would been on the weapon, there is not and never will be a hidden unlockable effect, sorry just wont happen.

It quite clear I did win in saying everyone cheats, no one is above that, parse is a cheat just as much as datamined, or flee hacking, heck even the GM said directly that parse was a cheat. Though you keep in your denial ways.

Again. Pink goblins with shooty hearts of death. It could happen, it just hasn't yet, SE hasn't been bored enough. Their game, THEIR RULES.

Yo're saying they won't ever do it, but you can't be certain of it. Its their game, so if they wanted to add a flying purple pig NM in Sky, they could do it.

And btw, it sounds like oyu haven't been in sea (which I know you have, but you act like you haven't), Aerns aren't in a different zone. Aerns are all over the region. Including the very area Absolute Virtue spawn at.

octave clubs suck horribly. what are you talking about? lol

At lvl 74, Octave Club will attack 2 times
At lvl 72, Octave Club will attack 8 times
At lvl 70, Octave Club will attack 2 times
At lvl 68, Octave Club will attack 4 times
At lvl 66, Octave Club will attack 2 times
At lvl 64, Octave Club will attack 8 times
At lvl 62, Octave Club will attack 2 times
All other levels it will attack once

So yes, it can suck. But can also be just as good as Kraken Club

Not at 72... But DRK sucks at 72, so it's sorta a lose-lose situation.

I don't know if this will help you uzor but that comming from a ls that have killed av in the past. I don't know if that was before se change thing or not but might help you.

http://forums.lunariansls.com/showthread.php?t=1509

If it does help then I am happy if it doesnt then I am sorry for this post being garbage.

Have fun

Unless you are a developer for SE, hell you'd have to be the head developer, saying something can never be introduced is beyond stupid. They already have hidden effects, they already have effects that need certain actions to become active; all they have to do is go "hey, why don't we just make those effects not be displayed on the weapon like these other items here?" and we'd have hidden unlockable effects.

You're the only one who thought you won, when in reality it was you whining for who knows how many pages, then a bunch of people bitch-slapping you with so much logic a math textbook would be jealous. I'm not surprised you're to dumb to understand how much you got smacked around in that topic; you're definitely too dumb to notice your hypocrisy. You keep calling datamining and parsing cheating, but then you want the information that can only be gained from datamining or parsing. So it's not right for others to cheat, but it's perfectly alright for you to benefit from it.

You killed 3, yes, but we can't be sure 3 Aerns are even enough. 3 Aerns is a rather small sample.

I made no claims that three were enough or that I was attempting to prove or disprove any theories. I was just providing first hand information relevant to some of the theories suggested...

I was thinking about AV's sorta random Hp and i was thinking maybe his job changes with what day it is.

Maybe if you add that with the ele spell/day and some of the sea items it could be a way to lock him. Find out what job he is and on what day, spam that ele spell, and use certain sea items that weaken that job?

Maybe Sea items don't have "Unlockable" abilities. Maybe it's just a combo of things.

Just throwing that out there as a thought.

Well, people should have seen it while meleeing with weapons before now, but its still possible. I'll be sure to try that out next AV pop :p

He's a DRG/all. Hence why he uses a polearm. Well, he could be a SAM, since those Aerns use polearms too, but all signs point to DRG. (Besides, there are 8 days and 15 jobs, math doesn't quite work unless he has DRG twice in the list... 7 jailers, too)

And the last theory I heard behind his funky HP is that he loses max HP as well as current HP as he takes damage. Like if he has 100k HP to start off with, beat him down to 75%, and he has 90k HP max. Combine with regen, and you get some pretty random HP values on Benediction.
