Just because they can't use it doesn't mean they haven't found something else to use. Now before you jump all in my shit about "Meikolia's accusing you of botting..., I'm just saying... people talk even your own members, but then again what's there to hide anymore?

This being yet another "omg abso bots blah blah thread" already...who gives a flying fuck. People will do whatever they want. Until this server shutsdown botters will continue to claim and people who dont bot will continue to bash them for it let it go it's old news.

Shells will continue to come here from other servers cus' our hnm scene sure as shit aint what it used to be. I remember heading to the aery 3-4 yrs ago looking at the competition, pers,kaizen happy angel,Etenalunion occasionally, that was enough to say fuck it and turn around to go find a better way to spend 3hrs. Even tho we never did turn and run from competition we sat there sometimes the full 3hrs to watch it get claimed but we still tried regardless of who was in our way its the nature of the beast, only difference now is its all new faces and they got a huge upper hand but you assume abso is the only shell who has tools? You're sadly mistaken and im pretty damn sure its FFXI wide not just our server.

To just sit back and be angry about people cheating or what ever u wanna call it, isnt gonna do ya any good so just let it be and for those of you moving on to 14 let it roll of your back and hope that the situation does not rise up again in the next episode.

I don't stick my head into HNM anymore just because of shit like this. I dont bot, i don't think I'm computer savvy enough to figure it out if i wanted to, and there's really nothing i want bad enough in this game to really even wanna do HNM or the drama that will always ensue.

As cliche' as it is by now for the majority of us that have been on this server since our character was born, get over it enjoy yourself and stop worrying about what other people do, "It's just a game"

It raged due to lack of DD's. We logged out and let it Regen up a tick of HP then killed it. Doesn't sound like a wipe to me.

I wonder what happened to the old spin > menu > flash spam way of claiming. Poor enter key got owned for 8 months straight.

Mori has a point though. People transfer here because the hnm scene is not cramped up. Hell, I transferred from Kujata with the rest of DarkDesire because we though we had a chance to do something here even though we had like 4-5 shells in the aery fighting against us.

I won't deny that Flipae, Finisher and Mikeman had bots, probably some others too but those 3 were talking about it openly in chat and vent. But even with that we were not claiming everything on earth. I did manage to claim 2 Fafnir, 2 Behemoth and an Aspid with menu > flash on the span of a couple of months and so my friends did too.

Bots has been around for a while and they will be until the day servers shutdown. I guess the game was different the day they introduced NASA but, since it's down now, I guess people will have their chances to claim something back if they are still legit.

I didn't mention aura Because the thread didnt mention Aura, I'm not joining the bash race Aced so calm down, I thought the blanket statement of "Shells" would include the only other hnm shell on the server but eh whatever.
 
Lol. No one wiped to that. We didn't have the right setup to be exact and it did rage but we had a lot of fun. Also who told you that? lol

Doesn't stop your friends from doing Einherjar with them. Hell, maybe you run with them too since you're together most of the time but who knows.

Only responding to this really because I am a Veteran of this server.

For some of us honestly the content is dead. All those shells you mentioned, all the things that Absolution and Aura are claiming have been done about 1000 times. Granted there are things here and there I am positive a lot of people I know in my shell want to see from HNM's however, when you know that the chances of you beating a program is .05% why subject people to that? 98% of the Kings drops, drop in other aspects of the game. No real major fuss there.

Of course it's not just Absolution that would be silly to assume considering. I don't doubt it's all across the game not just this server, and you can have all the members in the world but realize it only takes just one person to have the program to give those 50 people or so the advantage.

At this stage of the game, I still go out and camp but am I going to kill myself? Doubted. The only drama I have ever seen occur realistically is when people know they're cheating and yet either A deny it, B holler they are the bomb and deny knowing full blown well people have talked about it and it has leaked that you have the upper hand, or my personal favorite Make it sound like it's "okay". That's the only time I can honestly see people getting all bent out of shape.

For the veterans of this server who still go out and give it their all, if they were worried they would have just quit or transferred like some have by now because as much energy as it takes to bitch, you can put that into doing other things. Most of the real bitching is done by people who haven't really been on this server that long. Majority of the real Vets have changed servers to explore and just relax. If you notice the shit talking that used to occur in DA or Aspid between the Veteran HNM Shells lol doesn't happen! Why? Well I will let you figure that one out.

I don't care that they changed their name and to be honest the speculation as to why they did ... well maybe ask one the members? Maybe you'll get an honest answer. "Zebra's don't change stripes." Is what I think the whole thread was about to begin with which honestly like you said... who gives a shit. They could change their names to "STFU" and guess what, people are still going to speculate and some will still join the shell knowing what they know then you get post like these types of flames because some people just generally don't like them period and it has various other factors. Outside of the "botting" they have done some other things to get under people's skin. (i.e. Dynamis Zone Swiping) Granted they are right why would they need to follow QCDN. That's their business, however it came across as a complete disrespect to the QCDN community and since they speak english we can bitch at them. (lol) I highly doubt they give two flying fucks what you say here.

Do I care that they do what they do? Not particularly. It's disheartening that people aren't the same I agree with that much. I may not agree with it, however there's nothing to cry over really at least not from my perspective because everything they are doing has been done it's nothing new. Now when they kill something major that are not Kings, then I will perhaps change my thought of Sportsmenship vs. Programs. Then again, I'm old-fashion, believe me when I say I actually miss Kaizen and Integral because I miss the sportsmenship and nothing more.

I don't understand why you posted this. Aced meant that no one ever implies that Aura uses bots.
 
Because the amount of people who really care that absolution bots would be so much lower if they didn't snipe dynamis zones.

In no way was i disrespecting the shells i mentioned ,cept maybe Eternalunion cus they were always dicks if u didn't have block-aid on you were fucked lol, and happy angel was fun to watch just cus vang and fubio discussions in /say were pricelss, I was merely pointing out for those folks who are new to this server or maybe haven't been in endgame or hnm ever to just let it go bitching about shells and what they do will get you nowhere. I'm fully aware intergral,pers and kaizen no longer had much use for Kings and that's what opened the door for shells like Epic,Abso,Aura to come here and do what they do.

I wouldn't have posted myself if i had not been on this server since day 1 of my FFXI career(July 04) it just seemed to me alot of the folks who have the serious issues either haven't been here long or are just getting started in this particular era.

What? Uh it did rage and we logged it and relogged in and killed it np. We didn't have a good setup at first, so we were doing what we could. Also why does it even matter what happened with that znm? I don't understand why anderoc even brought it up. lol
