Get a crystal for 1k in rulude gardens, go to starter/past zones and heal, you get a direction. travel that direction and /heal again repeating as necessary, when you reach the spot an NM spawns

NMs seem to be tiers, with the crystal "levelling up" over time to access higher NM's

Some people on the third tier already fighting and wiping to KRABKATOA

It does look like fun, but the title's wrong.

This isn't Abyssea nor does it have anything to do with them.
Abyssea is the content we will be able to buy with the June, September and December version updates.

This is likely an equivalent (SP?) to the ZNMs.

Actually it's pre-content abyssea tie in... The creatures are extra dimensional voidwalkers from the abyssea dimension
 
These things hate me, I'm like 0/15 on getting a color from T1s.
 
Who's the NPC that you buy the crystal from? And where is he too.
 
I don't remember his name, but he is in Ru Lude a good 30 paces left out of the Upper Jeuno zone.
 
The tier-2 NM's are a fuckign pain in the ass if you're unprepared. The Hexeyes one in North Gustaberg likes to use Chainspell > Sleepga II > T4 spam on you <.<;
 
That is what I heard, I will have to check it out tomorrow, finally got my crystal to change to colored after killing many a crab and pugil.

Got my t2 crystal dnc can solo crab and pug with ease. Can I solo a tier 2?
 
The way I've seen it so far is that a party of 6 is best to take out T2, and an alliance until things get figured out for T3+
 
So, a note about Yilbegan.

Do NOT have anyone pull hate. If he runs more than 10 yalms away from his pop zone, he despawns...

T3 NM's aren't really that hard once you get the hang of it. Haven't had a chance to fight Yilbegan for very long yet, though...
 
Yo KB, been reading your posts, nice and helpful.

Also Nicholette least I have done a T2 with is 3-4, 4th (BRD) came halfway through. It was the skeleton in Xarcabard - BLM (Stunner), RDM, MNK/NIN, later BRD/WHM. Wiki says it resists stun, but never had that problem whatsoever.
