Yeah, first thing I did when I logged in was /sea all icet and saw him in Batallia. Have fun competing for Despot still!

but that nm holding thing does seem kinda new but then again SE went into a bit more detail this time but then again with the mass bans from the past they lumped them all together

edit: I think we need a thread and sticky that has all RMT lses listed and what functions they do. T

hey are using proper english for their ls names instead of Lllllllllllllllll lawlz...

A thought occurred to me not long after the last bannings and I still noticed gil sellers everywhere. The current bannings are literally useless. The reason you always see gil sellers leveling even when there is already a few groups active is they are preparing for the bans or at least I am guessing they are. They level a new group in downtimes between farming creating spare backup accounts. When a banning comes and if their accounts are hit, the backups then take the main farming positions like nothing even happened. I've said it before and I'll say it again, SE needs to try a lot harder to effectively combat RMT. I will give them credit, they are trying and it does have an effect, but not enough to deter the larger masses of RMT.

Didnt we use to have something like this as a sub board on the flame board? The Neighborhood Watch? What happened to that?

we had a rmt pic thread and yeah the wetlist of people who were caught doing stuff and rmt but it got compiled with the dead forums awhile ago it still exists but better to just make another thread

I think Lavi should be head of the RMT banning department at SE. she's seems smarter abuoit dealing with them then they do.
 
There's limits to just what they CAN do though. Different accounts, different characters, so long as they haven't broken any rules you can't just ban them because you "know" they're RMT. So you have to wait until they move into the primary role, then ban them once you can actually catch them breaking rules.

It'd be nice if they could do more, but at the moment, they're doing what they can, and it's a hell of a lot more than they were doing 2 years ago.

Thank you Raes, took the words right out of my mouth. There is a group in Crawlers Nest now leveling to replace. But they have yet to do anything wrong, other then be obvious RMT lol. but they have to physically do something to get themselves banned. On that note, brace for another economic panic attack (deflation)

My linkshell went to fight Kirin last night and when we got there PerfectWorld was next to pop. We nonwillingly let them pop their Kirin. At first they were going ok with minimal deaths on the first two summons but when suzy poped his 2 hour they started to go down hard until they finally wipped completly. We took the unclaimed Kirin and took it down for some free drops.
