Accounts banned.

So who got banned this time around? Speak up people, I want my drama fix!

I'm hoping a bunch of the RMT I reported about a week ago, which include Long, Hare, Kaypat etc. who I suspected of RMT actions when they were camping Poisonhand and acted suspiciously. Aajok found a huge amount of RMT last week in Garlaige after those guys left the Poisonhand camp, I called the GM cause some of them who were leveling in Garlaige tried claiming Poisonhand (They didn't claim =D), so I called a GM and he was very pleased =). I'll upload those pics and post them in the Good Times section soon, I had to use My digital Camera =/. Aajok wasn't sure the GMs would've take me seriously when I told him what the GM said after.

My linkshell went to fight Kirin last night and when we got there PerfectWorld was next to pop. We nonwillingly let them pop their Kirin. At first they were going ok with minimal deaths on the first two summons but when suzy poped his 2 hour they started to go down hard until they finally wipped completly. We took the unclaimed Kirin and took it down for some free drops.

Ahh..wait. By any chance was an RMT PLD Finkster, or The Fink there??
I think thats his name.

Earlier today I checked him out from a distance to confirm if RMT were in the area. I noticed he had a bazaar comment of:

Kirin LS = Thief

He also had other stuff to say, but made no sense at all.
RMT, don't even know how to use the auto-translate function; lol.

I think the RMT were trying to flame your shell but don't know how to. :-)
Either way, it wouldn't make a difference because even GMs will say it was fair game. They lost/wiped; you didn't interfere or do stuff to cause them to; you claimed when it was safe to; and you won. :-)

Good job on the Kirin claim. :-D

ohhh btw Raesvelg. If they know your a RMT I believe they can ban you somewhere in the huge book of rules you agree to when you sign up doesnt it say that you cannot participate in activites such as trading gil for real currency or whatever? Something like they own the gil its a trademark of Square Enix so you cannot sell it without permission. Could be wrong I havent played in months.

lol Serious? New credit card go!

I lie, but yeah I really should switch to pre-paid credit/debit cards.

the last 3 days i have been in sky before the ban there were 2 large groups of rmts. today 1 group the one with no shell and like a billion tarus was gone. There was environment there, but idk if they are rmt. We got despot the 2 days we actually farmed. Give them a few weeks and despot will be :shok: such a pain again.

Oh crap, think [namenotmentioned, he can reply himself if he wants...] was asking me last night what an LM-11 was. Is that the "ban" notice, or can that simply be suspension too?

*Edit* He got LM-17, my bad. =/ All the same, is there maybe a site or something that lists all the POL errors?

Yes, if they catch you breaking rules, they can ban you. That's what I said.

If they catch you sucking, having a name that uses no vowels, and probably having 6 characters being played by one person, well, none of those are banworthy offenses.

The average player who's been around for a couple years can look at a party and tell if the people in it are RMT or not with a reasonably high rate of accuracy. But like I said, that doesn't matter if none of the accounts involved in that party have broken any of SE's rules yet. Even if the GM can look at a group and make the same judgement call that you or I could, it still doesn't matter. Until they break the rules, they can't be banned on suspicion that they will break the rules at a later date.

Actually SE reserves the right to terminate service for any reason wether or not one is provided to you. If they don't want you on the game you don't play the game, in theory.

EULA said:

In the course of your playing the Game and using the PlayOnline Service, you may accumulate certain usage statistics, score information, character traits, performance records and other Game-related data that are stored for you in the Game and on PlayOnline servers (collectively, your "Player Data"). Practical application, naturally, is a different story.

LM-17 is the temp suspension, isn't it? Either way, if either is the case, he doesn't really deserve the secrecy...

LM-17 is a 72hour suspension. I had 3 of those on Dowzer. x ,x;

EDIT: I believe the suspension also starts at midnight JST, so it usually adds upto anywhere from 72~80 or more hours.
