Even thinly veiled complaints, even constant snarky (I love that word) comments, and just either accept that you're gonna be waiting for a long time, or that you're going to have to go elsewhere to get what you want.

When people are hesitant to run zones because you're not there, not because they particularly want to see you get some piece you especially desired, but because they don't want to hear you complain that the shell didn't put everything on hold to accommodate your schedule, it's generally a sign that you need to relax.

I've said this to others as well. I am not Rappa. We have the same character model sure, but again you're pointing me out when all the mages made the same joke comments. I don't complain, if it really were an issue, I would have left a long time ago but I wanted to help my friends get their gear.

I don't recall anything she said that other people (read: mages) didn't say as well. Notice that they are all gone now, too. They just left without saying anything. Even Mirewen left without saying anything after it was made abundantly clear she wasn't welcome. Unfortunately, I don't roll that way, thus why I posted this big rant on the board and now onto the flameboard when I was ignored, lol.

I was on track, you simply chose to take exception to my earlier statements regarding you, out of my earlier statements regarding all parties involved.

I reiterate, if you don't care, don't bring it up. You brought it up, frequently and repeatedly. Obviously, you did care, otherwise you wouldn't have wasted the effort.

That bugged the hell out of Achates, which is part of why he reacted more strongly to you than anyone else. Hence why I mentioned it to begin with.

As for runs being delayed, I cannot say for certain that it ever happened, though I recall it being discussed on numerous occasions. Mostly, as I said earlier, it was people only half in jest saying we should do something else so as to avoid your wrath.

Reply if you want, I've said my piece regarding that particular matter and have no intention of bringing it up again.

Actually I didn't bring it up usually. I laughed and joined in when some others did because it was funny when people would hop into the shell, see "Ultima today!" then leave because they didn't want to do it lol. If you'll recall it was Otak who made the comment that her and I should get to lot on Homam because it's all we ever got, and even I could see she was kidding.

And as for wanting a certain zone or piece, I was way less vocal about wanting to upgrade AF than some other people. I was actually more geared towards getting coins, I already have all the AF+1 I needed from when Valkyrs did Limbus. Hense why I'm 5/5 RDM, 2/5 BLM (one of those is from BK), 1/5 WHM and have the items needed for another WHM and BRD. I never once asked for a specific zone, when Achates asked me what piece I needed in tell, I told him... in tell.

That's interesting. People like me always tell our complaints to the shell. I made a few topics, I talk in linkshell chat, etc. It sounds like Achates's way of handling things is to talk about them behind their backs when they aren't in the shell. Thanks for pointing this out, Raes, really drives home my point. Looks like he's been working hard to get the shell to dislike me and others he doesn't like. I wouldn't be 100% surprised if he asked Tenia to come on whm/brd because he knew it would piss me off as I told her IN PARTY CHAT last week that it would. She sure did swap back to whm/blm fast after I left.

To be honest, I don't recall Achates saying much at all about anyone in LS chat until the whole hissy fit got thrown by all parties involved. Or at least not much more than anyone else, and if you'd like to pretend you're without sin in this particular matter, we both know that's not true.

Make no mistake, I have no liking for the way this situation was handled. But I'm not here to ruin reputations or attempt to demonize people. I'd much rather see something constructive come out of this. I've watched far too many shells break over trivial personality conflicts to want to assist anyone in destroying another.

Pretty convenient. I was mostly joking about her being told to do it (though if I found it it was true I wouldn't be shocked). It's just funny how this whole event broke out over a crappy sub and in the end she swapped. So who was right? Oh yeah, me.

Everything's screenshotted above. I can't make up anything that was (and wasn't) said. It's all there to read. He told one side to shut up but not the other, which was much more vulgar. I don't recall saying anywhere in the op that I didn't do anything wrong.

You don't need to rest when your tanks pretty much always have shadows up. Conserve MP isn't going to win over Refresh if you're not spending MP regularly.

If your tanks all have shadows, people still get hit. This is the same argument that is made with RDM/WHM and BLM/WHM for merits. BLM/WHM is much more effective because of the job traits explained above.

I could see a BLM using brd sub to give the entire BLM party an extra tick of refresh, but NOT a critical job like WHM, where, as already pointed out earlier, you could lose a tank because you're wasting time casting a mediocre song. WHM's resting can stand and cast much quicker than a song cancel.

Okay apparently I need to quantify now that like everything on the face of the earth, there can be exceptions. This case wasn't one of them so it's a moot point. Nothing anyone's arguing would apply as this wasn't a merit pt or anything and the pt had a refresher and no need for sissy march buff.
