Just to jump in here for a sec then move on with rl (Mines Great ty). I assume some ppl don't have much in the way of rl so they live through rpg. That said a few points. on /brd
1. Tenia has gone to Limbus with no refresh for Anyone in her party. That included the PLD & BLU. And she aked earlier in the day & verified there was no refesh for her party.
2. Last time I checked Ballad works for any mages in your party.
Let's say Tenia used Mages Ballad.
MP Refresh x 1 x 3ppl = 3mp/tic that was not there the last time she went.
3. Fact: Yes /smn gives you 1mp/tic x 1 person = 1 mp/tic not 3 as /brd does
4. Yes /BLM gives you Con MP. Do you know what that means? Yes 25% CHANCE!
It does not mean u save 25% of your mp. It is a 25% chance to save. The NET
is 7-8 per 100 mp.
5. Based on the situation (no refresh in pt) Tenia was correct, the 3mp/tic > /smn.
As with almost everything in this game there is no mold. I carry 57 out of 60 when I play BLM, 54 on RDM. As far as my gear I heard of a few comments from lesser players. Yes I have an /equip Macro I hit after spells like Stoneskin/ Blink etc, and even after a nuke I hit it, that puts on my Demon's Cloak to refresh some mp spent as I walk around or AM NOT casting.
Pay attention noobs it gets tricky here. When I cast a nuke magically I /Eq nuking gear in the same macro as the spell being cast, gasp!. On goes Genie Weskit, Novio Earring, Moldavite Earring, Snow Ring, Wizard's ring already on from force down macro, (if I chose to equip that, again depending on situation), Proper hq staff, Elem Torgue, (which may come off with another macro if my mp is low enough for Ugg Pend to kick in)
For Enfeebling/Sleep I have Genie (hq Igqira) gear and Wiz Body. Maxed ENF and ELE merits. All upgrades to Freeze2 & one more to go on Burst2.
So I don't wanna here "He showed up here in a Demon's Cloak, what a noob". Stop the stupidity and get the facts before you assume.
