Active duty soldier. Family faces deportation.

Alright, I mostly didn't read your first post because it isn't even your own material. When I said I didn't read your post I meant the one following it. This I actually saw on the news already, and the way I feel about it is she shouldn't have waited so god damned long to become legal.

I feel no sympathy for this family. 1989, bro. 19-fucking-89. She was five when she left, so that makes her what... 25-years-old? She should have thought about becoming legal seven years ago when she became an adult. Yeah, it sucks that she might be deported. Tough shit.

it just pisses me off that people don't see that this is wrong. I don't hate the country. I don't like the work work attitude and when i retire. It will not happen here.

i just think its wrong for the country wanting to deport the family of the Us solider.

We need a immigration reform, the last time we had one was in the 1980s.

I just don't like bush and his policy's, Most of the world hates us and thinks we are arrogant pricks, which to a extent some of us are.

They hate us for invading a country, we could have easily went in killed sadam and left.

After reading that I think our main concern should be the educational system. I know a few soliders myself, and most of them can spell. All are Us citzens too.

Sorry for the Spelling but i am at work, I have to post quick before my boss comes around.

If you'd have actually read his post instead of whining about him needeing to shut up with his whining, you'd see what I mean.

Summary: I don't know what whining is so I'm going to just say you're whining because it sounds cool. I didn't tell him to shut up. I told him to leave the country, which he needs to do.

Protip: Whining would require me to whine about something, which I haven't done up to this point. If you want someone who whines go find Myrrh or someone who is living in the US and complaining about it.

I have a few friends that are in the Process of getting there Residence. The immigration policy that we have at the moment is more like the lottery; They don't go by your credentials. In Australia they have a point system, which i think would work great for this country.

1) The US government is pretty much makes the US the US. You can't hate the government and like the country, unless you just think it looks pretty or something.

2) How am I whining? Go ahead, enlighten me. I'm all ears.

Defining government seeing as how this has to be spelled:

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Government

A government is a body that has the power to make and the authority to enforce rules and laws within a civil, corporate, religious, academic, or other organization or group.

What a country is:

Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Country

In political geography and international politics, a country is a political division of a geographical entity, a sovereign territory, most commonly associated with the notions of state or nation and government

In common usage, the term is used casually in the sense of both "nation" (a cultural entity; see below) and "state" (a political entity; see below). Definitions may vary. It is sometimes used to refer to both states and some other political entities.[1], while in some occasions it refers only to state.[2] It is not uncommon for general information or statistical publications to adopt the wider definition for purposes such as illustration and comparison.[3]

There are dozens of non-sovereign territories (subnational entities, another form of political division or Administrative division within the expanse [realm or scope] of a larger nation-state) which constitute cohesive geographical entities, some of which are former countries, but which are not sovereign states. Most of these nowadays even have a great deal of autonomy and local governments but such do not constitute a nation as they are possessions of such states — as several states have overseas dependencies, with territory and citizenry separate from their own. Such dependencies are sometimes listed together with states on lists of countries.

So, in case you cant see the difference since you don't like to read: A government makes the rules and is our leadership. A country / nation is the said land area that is controlled by a government or a form of leadership. Even though leadership makes the rules, and may represent us, it doesn't mean we are just like our leadership in the way they think. So you can't associate the US government and the all citizens of the country in the same category because we all don't feel the same or have the same views on everything like the US government does. That being said the leadership doesn't necessarily make the US the US, the people living in the US make the US what it is.

You're right. Bad math is bad. I'm in lecture about DirectX right now.

You got pissed off about your job in the RLS forum. Not dragging that in here, but that's the work attitude in this nation; "all get the same opportunity, be it to fail or succeed."

If he's a US soldier, he has to be a citizen or naturalized. If he somehow got through the system unnoticed (unfuckinglikely), "yay, he's defending American freedom", but he's also leeching:

- Tax dollars that pay for his medical care entirely,
- A housing alliance or free housing if he lives on a base,
- A moderate paycheck that, again, is paid for by OUR tax dollars
- Tax-free shopping and grocery

You tell me how that is fair?

Not an extent. We are arrogant when it comes to foreign policy, and have been since December 2, 1823.

Nobody hated us for invading other nations, and yes, while a large amount of American people (including me) believes we had no reason to be in Iraq, we are there now, we created the clusterfuck over there, and it needs to be cleaned up.

Ryu, I don't have any problems with you, but a) this belongs in RLS, b) every single administration has had religious-driven policy, not only GW's, (Billy Graham has been the spiritual advisor to every president since Eisenhower I think?), and c) if you don't like the way things are going here, you have a few options.

- Do your part. Vote, organize peaceful assemblies, and voice your opinion. Shit, write your Florida Congressmen.
- Shut the hell up, stop whining, and sign the checks every year until you die. If you don't do your part in this country, you have no right to bitch, although you have been granted it by our "evil government".
- Get the hell out. Get thee to France, or Britain, or Canada, or any other of the nations in the world.

*no offense to France, Britain, or Canada. I loves em all.

An active duty combat citizen should not have to worry about his family being deported =|

And with that - redirected to RSI.

Protip: follow your own protip. He wasn't whining either

As in, Antor just says he whines to sound cool to hope for rate ups.

And since you have a hard time understanding the difference between a country and a government, read what Davion said. 10 times, in fact, since 1 will most likely not make you understand.

This thread makes me lol

Ryujin until you've been in the military don't speak about it like you know what the fuck is going on, because the fact is you don't. I actually hope you leave the United States, then there's one less person I have to worry about.

Antor, wow! Could you sound any more ignorant please?

I do however ind it funny that Uzor is not even a US citizen and yet he's the one promoting some of the values the country was founded on while people from this country aren't.

edit on this: sorry, not the soldier himself, but his wife?

She's the one leeching that free healthcare and tax-free shopping.

Yeah, wikipedia is an awesome source of information. >_> Regardless, since you want to ride my ass about a very insignificant detail... I didn't associate its citizens with anything. That's your failure to read right there. I associated the country with its government.

I'll admit I'm a little pre-occupied right now, but my point still stands. You can't like a country of a government you hate. That makes no god damned sense at all. That doesn't necessarily mean you hate the people who live there. It just means you don't like the country. Our laws and government is what makes this country the US. The way of life in the US is centered around that one thing. You knock down the pillar that holds a platform up then you knock down the whole thing.

No, most people/countries don't hate US government for invading other countries, that's just a part of it. They hate US government due to the fact they think they have the right to play world police.

In my opinion, America (nor any other countries) should have the right to veto.

The USA Solider is a Unites States Citizen.

I vote every time there is a election, I also follow politics every day.

I do my part in this country, I vote, Jury duties, and pay my taxes.

An active duty combat citizen should not have to worry about his family being deported =|

And with that - redirected to RSI.

And a father also shouldn't have to worry about his terminally ill daughter either, but it happens.

There's one difference though, the deportation is directly a result of neglect to follow the proper immigration laws, whereas a father of a terminally ill child holds no responsibility to being the cause of the families problems with the exception of a genetic mutation that can't be controlled. Being military personnel doesn't put you above the law of the land. Just as he can't come home and rob a bank, he also is subject to the immigration laws of the land.

You can't like a country of a government you hate.

I love my nation, however I can't stand our government. We have beautiful countryside, friendly people, great food (fuck what the French etc say) and plenty of other stuff I love about Britain. Our government is all based on lies, corruption and spin though and I wouldn't piss on any of our parliament if they were on fire.

Yeah, I'm really hoping for rate ups. I'm not really worried about them so long as I don't have a single red bar. Who gives a hit about the rating system? Seriously.

This creation of this topic is entirely centered around whining. You really are dense.
