I realize this is no flameboard and I absolutly hate the "spite form" the other board is in at this time so I'll keep this as civil as possible so it can remain here. Also, It's not a "Neighborhood Watch" type deal, I feel, as I'm sure these people are normally decent they just only care about themselves nine times out of ten.

Sensesfail, I'm sick of you bringing your parties and camping on top of me when there are three other Puk camps in the same vicinity. You are probably the most disrespectful person I have ran into this whole time leveling BST. To tell me to grow up when your RNG (Steerpike) tries to claim after I have is also very stupid. I'd appreciate you staying the hell away from me and blaming your parties shortcommings on me. That was her fault your SMN got ownd, tell her to grow up. Also, the first instance of your emonics where you camped on top of me, youre RDM, Nikyta, ask me to go away. You must have missed it or just plain can't comprehend text but your words after my comment was ridiculous. The next day you showed up I saved her ass, that should show you a little something about me right there. If you don't like the things that happen to your party while I'm around, DO NOT CAMP ON TOP OF ME YOU DISRESPECTFUL DOUCHE.

People, there are three Puk camps in Wajaom... NOT JUST ONE (to mention, I have never saw any parties at the two others...). Why in the hell do most of you camp on top of others? People complain of the areas being overcrowded... well, they are not overcrowded. It's because of douchebags like this to lazy and/or disrespectful to find another camp that it seems that way. It's not just in Wajaom on the Puks, it's everywhere. Get some manners you jokes and stop hendering with others time because you're to disrespectful to find another camp. God forbid it takes you five or six more min. to find a camp. If you still choose to camp on top of others then some advice... Don't mess with them or talk trash. Realize you are the piece, not them. If I, and I'm sure most anyone is in a spot and people cramp it, we're going to be vindicative of the space, expect that. You'd be stupid not to. Get some respect for others you people and cut this crap out.

Sorry I ruined your day, ladies. I guess this board is now official property of the brigade it was so long destined to be property to. If generally discussing a topic WITH examples is out of the question, that's a sad sad sight.

Examples are usually more along the lines of provable fact, rather than a rant. I do agree with you though.
 
To be honest I want to know about people who do stuff like this so that I can avoid them. There's no need to camp right on top of another party in the new areas. Last night our pt set off for Aydeewene or whatever it's called and there was another pt where we were going to camp. No problem we just moved past them to the next room.

Really though, most people are afraid to try something new, so if they've never heard of (x) campspot, they probably would rather goto the one they're used to. And if you knew that there's two other camps no one goes to, why did you goto that one then? =/
 
General Discussion is just that, I would think... "General" discussion... perhaps the mentioning of the scenario is fine if you're looking for some kind of discussion from the peanut gallery. Otherwise, with the naming of names, and the nature of the post, I hate to disagree with you, but this does seem a bit more suited to the Neighborhood Watch imo.

I don't know what the area looked like in terms of how many people there were at that time exping, but what I will say is that 9 times out of 10, when I am wanting to exp in Imperial Standing areas, they are all crowded. Competition is very high so you either go prepared to do what you need to do to try to exp or you suck it up and go elsewhere. I personally don't camp on top of other people, but I wouldn't be pushed out of a camp I had been occupying for other people just coming in. If that's what happened, I can understand your frustration. Maybe a calm discussion between you and the party leader privately would be a solution? Bottom line is, there are a LOT of people wanting the exp bonus that comes with exp in the new areas. A lot more than the areas can accomodate. I'm sure in a perfect world, we'd all take turns and play nice... wait courteously for a group to leave before we try to move in. But reality is... people are paying to play just like you are. And while I don't agree with playing dirty, and I don't agree with camping on top of others, I'd say you're setting yourself up for disappointment thinking it isn't going to happen and on a semi-regular basis. Maybe that's a sad state of affairs, but that's pretty much the way it is. I hope you have better luck in the future.

I'm glad you asked this, I was hoping someone would. There are three camps but only two have spiders. I was at one, a farmer at the other, and the other Puk camp is past those and ALWAYS open however, there is nothing I can use to kill the Puks there. Thing is, despite my knowing and if the other two camps where open and/or suitable for me, I shouldn't have to move! The past two days I moved... today I couldn't.
 
Do what I do when parties are rude and decide to camp on top of me when I'm on BST: Say "screw my xp" and make their lives a living hell by destroying their experience. I'm very easy-going, but I can be a totally vindictive prick when it turns into normie party vs. BST if I was there first and the camp can't support both.

I'm always very polite about asking the party to move on; 90% of the time they're gracious about it and leave...but you always get that 10% with the entitled asshole "Party > BST" mentality. I'm sure Neyla grits his teeth and says "There he goes again" when that happens and I start pulling like a madman.
 
I dia their slept linked mobs and tractor people a split second before raise hits them. I'm a dick, but its only cuz I want to be able to treat them as equals still. There is tons of space out there, they need to be reported for griefing.
 
Not sure what level you are Strid, but once you hit 68 you can kill faster than most xp parties. I had a party CC me while xping... So, I killed everything as fast I could and while the xp party and myself were waiting for mobs to pops, I killed the pink Marlboros to keep the chain going. :smile:

Their xp had to suck as I was completing chain 4 while they only had at most chain 2. And to be a bigger ass, at 68, you can just charm the EM Puks to further reduce the available mobs. As an fyi, the spiders, bees, marlboro, puk camp near the ruins in Wajoam can only support 1 lvl 68 BST as I was able to chain 4 consitently and occasionaly chain 5 and would clear all but 1-2 puks.

Sorry about your experience, but that seems to be the norm against BSTs... Oh the other thing... Learn the pop schedule! That way you know when to be where to start the next fight asap.

Another problem with the Puk camp is the goof ball RDM/BST that seems to like to solo on the puks. More of an annoyance than anything, but eh.

Anyway, keep it up... That has been the best BST camp I've had. (You can get 4k-5k an hr.)
Oh yeah... If you really want to be a prick... Load up on full charm gear and just charm and despawn the mobs... :roll:

As they've said.

Don't get mad, get even. BST have plenty of ways of jacking up the experience points of any parties that try to camp on top of them. I'm not saying to mpk, but hell, we can charm/familiar mobs all the way up to IT+++++, and at your point, charming a T mob that the party is after wouldn't take much effort at all and could easily disrupt a chain.

Usually after a party camps on top of an aggressive bst, they learn their lesson after watching their exp drop in the gutter and move on. Be aggressive. :D

I'm just not one to get even really or open my mouth, Pako or Hali. I simply go about my business or may say a little something to counter their words. I do not like starting trouble. I think I must change this though.

Damita, I'm about to hit 69. I totally agree about the ruins camp, it is excellent and that is the exact camp of the problem. I could have done the pop schedule thing and you know, I'm not sure why I didn't. Puks to me have been a pain and killing them faster than a party has shown to be a problem and I'm not sure why. They are about the only mob where it has been 50/50 on being able to kill faster or not. I was still getting chain #4's and wasn't really caring for the couple of second wait for re-pops every now and again... it was more of being pissed off because of how rude these people are when something happens that is their own fault, to me. As far as Rice goes, the RDM/BST, she has been very gracious about leaving my occupied area after buffing me when she sees I beat her to it :) Which, is the way it should be. 8k and I'm out of this place...

I know BST is subject to this throughout their career leveling, I expected it but in the whole three weeks and some odd days I have been leveling it, this is the only time I have encountered the problem and it WAS a problem. Normally the party was nice and chatted with me or after getting their gimped XP would move on. I can handle a party that wants to CC me for XP mobs but running their mouths is not going to fly.

Since you're about to hit 69... Know any good BST camps in the new zones? I'm 2k ISPs from turban. :smile:

Sorry this happened to you yesterday Strid. I was in the party yesterday where a Puk aggroed Nikyta, and Sensesfail was in there, and a BST definitely saved Nikyta's ass, I just didn't know it was you. Thanks for making up for a RDM who couldn't keep sneak/invis/whatever up! I didn't mean to have you driven from the camp, though. That's the first time I'd camped Puks ever, and it was quite fun.
 
I can attest to Sensesfail being a self-centered _____. We had started a static with him (on his pld) in the early 50s; got one session in with all 6 of us, and it was looking awesome. Next week I looked for him, he was 8 levels above us. When I asked him what's up, his reply was:

"my ls really wants to see me in full af"
 
He wanted me to help out with his Ohat, but when he found out I was gay he made jokes. ;(

So I took my cawk riding arse elsewhere. <3
