[adult swim] New Shows!

^^^^^^^^^John K. got lucky once almost 20 years ago with the first Ren & Stimpy and everything beyond that has been substandard at best.

Tim & Eric's humor is a lot like the humor in Stella. If you get it, you get it and it's funny. If you don't get it, you're not going to like it, and moreover they're not going to bring out the training pants and walk you through why it's funny. If you get Cartoon Network there should be at least 60 other shows on during T&EASGJ and I'm sure one of them is more to your liking.

Bob Odenkirk does like being a part of polarizing shows I guess

I agree that Ren & Stimpy is levels better, but I'm also saying Ripping Friends is still better than most of the crap they have on Adult Swim right now. They should have like...maybe a Cowboy Bebop&Samurai Champloo hour every night. That'd be awesome...

Really, Futurama and Family Guy asides, it seems like they trash any of the popular shows for some reason.

I don't remember Ripping Friends being funny at any point when it was on AS but then again I hated Mission Hill and most of the out-of-house shows that weren't from Fox or Home Movies so maybe we just like different things.

I'm pretty sure AS puts out what they have because it all costs next to nothing to produce and enough people will like it that it turns a profit for a few months. It's a pretty good strategy, and even if I don't like 12oz and Metalpocalypse or whatever it's called if I still tune in for Venture Bros. and the Tim/Eric stuff that's good enough for them.

How do you not like Metalacolypse?

Probably because I do not have the same taste in humor as you

I'm just puzzled as to how someone who likes Home Movies doesn't like Metalacolypse. Brendon Small made both.

Prolly cuz of the different direction Brendon took with Metalocalypse.

Well I liked the music segments in Home Movies the least so that's one reason I suppose
