Advance Wars: Dual Strike

Who has it? Who loves it?

I bought this game last week and I have to say I have no been able to put it down. And as good as the single player is, the multiplayer is even better. My friends and I took about 6 hours to go through and entire battle, it was insane.

Anyone else a fan of AWDS or just AW in general?

Sadly, no one in my hick town has a DS...so [I'm playing solo right now] ;;

I like the multiple CO powers <3
and fog of war still pisses me off


The touch screen is kinda pointless though....and that real time combat game is odd, but fun =p

I love the Advance Wars games, and I'm hoping they'll eventually put out a DS version to let people play over the internet. I'm liking Dual Strike, although I kinda want to strangle the new hotshot CO. He's no Andy!

Devi's right about the touch screen. I have no use for it. I just use the old controls.

Have you tried visiting the battle maps screen with one of the first two AW games in the GBA slot? The old fart will sell you extra goodies.

Yeah, I'm getting Advance Wars if there ever is a copy used. (And if I don't find one by next month, I'll buy it new. ^^; Yeah... I'm poor. Can't feed the family with video games........ or can you? Hmmm...)

Anyways, it's looking like it's gonna be fun. Who here is excited about Lunar Dragon Song? XD I can't wait for that.

I love Lunar, and I'll be buying the game pretty close to release. I think I own every version of Silver Star Story out there. I beat it back in the dim dead days of the Sega CD.

Only because the Pipe Runner Lab level freaking sucks. Flippin' Capture 15 properties... AGAINST KINDLE GOD DAMMIT WHY KINDLE!

So it's suicide to attempt Capture when she has her SCOP. I honestly don't give a crap what rank I score should I complete this mission anymore. I have enough 300+ S-Ranks to cover any sub A-Rank score to keep an overall S-Rank upon completion of the game. Hachi <3.

Not a clue. Unfortunately I haven't heard of anything about it yet. Ah well...

But yeah... I remember bugging my mom when the original Lunar Silver Star came out. Haha! It had been out for only a week and I wanted it for an early birthday present just because it had "anime people!" on it. Ah~ To be young and stupid again...

Anyways... yeah... I own it all, artbooks and everything. I love Lunar and next to Phantasy Star IV and Final Fantasy VI, the original Lunar was one of my favorite RPGs.

Now all we have to look forward to is LUNAR III!

I did beat it. I got an S. Wasn't too hard after I figured out what the fight comes down to(the upper right nuetral base.) Thats the key property to winning. If Kindle gets it and successfully advances toward the cities along the pipe, just restart. Either Capture it as soon as you're done with the Pipe Runners, or keep Kindle from getting units out of it until it's the last property you can take without knocking on her front door..

The new leader of the Black Hole Army is Lord Von Bolt(Hence why Jugger refers to him, Koal, and Kindel as the Bolt Guard.)

And if you noticed, theres a little contention in the ranks of the Black Hole Army, between the Bolt Guard and Sturm's Crew, which leads to... well.. you'll find out soon.

I don't really like Jugger. He's just a copycat of Flak. :? Big power but chance of high dispersion, and COPs that compliment that.

Only difference is his power and dispersion ratios are 5% higher in both directions than Flak. Same with his COP, but their SCOP is the exact same thing. +90% through -50%.

ya same thing ... when i look at his CO power and into ... i tho it was flak in new look ... i was hoping something like this

for his Cop

the atk range of all vehicles increases by one "only direct vehicles"

well he is a robot so he must be good with math and range distance accuracy
