So has anyone else played this game? It's a free online RPG that I've been playing for a few days now. So far it sucks balls. I haven't been able to complete a single fucking quest yet and I'm lvl 17. Character: http://aq.battleon.com/build30/charview.asp?temp=32736101. So what I'm guessing here is that you have to pay the 10 bucks to become a guardian before you can actually get anywhere in this game, but that's why I wanna know if anyone else plays, cause maybe I'm just missing something here. Is there something I need to do or some trick to the game I haven't figured out? Because pretty much everything still kicks my ass. I wasn't even able to upgrade my stats until I bought a pet to help beat the stat trainer. So has anyone upgraded? Is the game easier after you do?

You are most certainly missing something.

First off, in order to get your stats after you level, you have to visit the stat trainer and pay him money to fight him so he will raise your stats. I didn't notice this untill level 30! You get 5 stat points at a time, and can only train 1 time for each level you have gained. If you have trained and still can't kill stuff, you trained the wrong stats. You can untrain stats by dying and doing a quest for the grim reaper. You have to click on his hourglass to start it. It also took me a while to figure that one out.

The easiest way to do this is to do the werewolf quest and get the Dual Saber, it drains health and magic sometimes when you attack with it.

And I leveled every job to lvl 5 (highest you can go without becoming a gaurdian) and did most of the quests. I am now lvl 86 and I have a house and some art on the walls and a bunch of pets.

Pet rock is your friend. It's free, just go in the shop where you can take the quest to it adds 1 or 2 damage per round to your attack, which isn't much after you get so far, but it really helps 1-30 or so. Cause it's free.

Don't worry bout different shields, there is a quest where you can get a "Frogzard Shield" which at one time was the best in the game, and still is unless you become a guardian.

Oh yeah, the best job by far and away is Necromancer. You turn into a lich when you die and it just gets nasty for whoever is on the oppisite side of the screen.

I give this game 3/5.

It's quite funny at times, it's got some cool artwork in places, massive amounts of gear, more than I could ever concievably tryout by myself. The battle is simplistic and somewhat boring. Most of the Job quests are basiclly the same as a coffer key hunt. They update things a lot and listen to the users. Noone will do anything about people hacking because it doesn't affect other players as it's just an rpg minus the MMO. The most common hack is to make yourself fight only 1 kind of monster, some sort of slime you have to have a certain weapon to kill and it gives tons of xp and gold. In response to this, they limited the amount of xp and gold you can accumulate in one day. I have never reached the limit, cause I don't cheat at anything, so I don't know how much it is.

I found the stat trainer fairly soon but I haven't been able to beat him until recently. I've been upping STR and END as my main two, and DEX as sort of a sub, but I've been lvling a few other things just because they were cheap to lvl, I forgot you could only level em so many times though.

I'm level 19 and I haven't become a guardian yet.

Found him today.

My two biggest problems I think are healing and money, neither of which I have any of. I think if there were some way to heal my character mid battle without going back to town I wouldn't be having nearly as much trouble. That would also solve my money problem as I would be able to actually kill things. It's getting to the point that I can't really kill anything my level when I hit the "BATTLE MONSTERS" button in the bottom right side of the screen in town. And since I can't kill anything to make any money I can't buy new weapons/armor/pets to help me out either.

Level paladin, lvl 3 or 4 you get a summn Daiymon, and he attacks for 10-20 damage most turns, you can have him in addition to a pet that you can buy in the store, but he replaces the pet rock. Every time he hits, you gain 5 health and 5 mana.

Also if its still there, buy the spell Salad Shooter and then click on the moglin in the main town area you should get a menu that pops up saying "Have you heard any rumors" click on that to hunt the seed spitter. After that you will enter a battle with the seed spitter. Just keep casting Salad Shooter on it and you should get health potions from it every few casts once its either dead, you run out of mana, or you feel you have enough potions just run away and continue on with whatever. ^_^ Hopefully this helps a little.

Yeah thanks, that does help Zer.

I finally beat a quest the other day, the Zargarg or w/e they're called one. I got some spiffy new armor from it too. Then I logged out and came back today and it was gone =/ so much for that. Half way through this guy gives me 9 free potions though, so that's one way to stock up, along with the method Zer mentioned.

Yeah unfortunately as a general rule armors and weapons that you recieve from quests usually dissapear after log out and you have to do the quest again to get them again. If you want permanent equips you have to buy them from the shops and certain NPCs around the game world.
