AF Quests for Different Jobs at the same time

I just recently hit lvl 54 BST and already have a coffer key for the crawlers nest to get my AF Gloves. However, my BLM is lvl 56 and I've already talked to the guy in the armor shop in Upper Jeuno to start the quest for them as BLM. When I go talk to the guy as a BST he just repeats that the old gloves are in a chest in Garliage Citadel.

So can I go to Crawlers Nest and proceed with my BST AF or do I have to finish the BLM AF (I've shelved BLM indefinitely and really don't want to have to finish it just now). I'm just about ready to start leveling BST in Garliage so I"m pretty sure I can get a coffer key there easily enough, but I kinda want to keep going with my BST AF now.

I am betting that you will have too finish the Blm AF quest first unless there is a way too cancel the Blm AF quest which I never heard of a way.
 
Yeah, I just found a post on Allakazham that said basically the same thing.

Guess I'm back in the nuking business for a bit.
 
You need to activate Borghertz's Wild Hands quest as bst before opening any coffers as bst. If you can not do that, then you will have to finish Borghertz's old gauntlets (blm) quest and get wizard's gloves. You should not need to perform the other coffer af quests for blm though after finishing the gloves part.
 
yes you must finish the hands quest for each job before you can continue the AF on any other. Believe me i have done it many times lol
