So why are we "Affiliated" with the piece of shit dead forum Shinra Online where even the mods are trolls?

In hopes that some of the qcdn users with lower IQs might go post there on a regular basis?

I understand the fact that SO is dying and you are just trying to drum up some traffic, but really, leave us out of it.

Interestingly enough (and thankfully), we aren't listed as an affiliate on that site.
 
More importantly, why does that piece of crap site have a shoutbox AND an arcade and we have nothing? I want a shoutbox, dammit!
 
yeah, they need to just give up... When its on the first page of google when you search "shinra," and the site is STILL dying... Yeah, just... Idk, stop trying
 
Because nox is admin there as well, so go go cross advertising i guess. I went to those forums the other day and all i can say is, i hope to god the couple people i saw on there that did, really dont have 20k+ posts, thats ridiculous. Other wise i looked at maybe 2 threads, said lol and don't plan to go back again, ever.

idc about the links on this site. Honestly people are worrying too much about subtle attempts to drive traffic to his site. Honestly, it's better than banner ads and other annoying crap. And as long as those sites don't links here then I'm fine.
 
I think it's interesting how we make one "false assumption" (according to him) and he entirely stops frequenting this site. Nox is definitely our friend from candy land.

P.S. I spent an hour yesterday trying to beat the Simon high-score on that site, but sadly, I failed.
 
Don't confuse being a complete pussy over an issue he fired up himself just to get some play on his site for not frequenting here. He's around, they both are, they're just not super-keen on offering any kind of explanation or bothering to do more than sit on their thumbs when it comes to actually accomplishing what the supposed goals were to begin with.

I really just wanted people to be aware of what the admins are doing.

Right now, the admins don't give a damn about anyone here or what we have to say, they don't post unless it's a simple pc+1 or unless they are addressing an actual technical issue, which really and truely, is all an admin should do. The rest of the work should be left up to the mods, and it is, and they do what they are supposed to do in most cases.

I suppose I really just still wish sculli was our admin because he (up until the end) he listened to the community and made adjustments to the site acordingly with the approval of the majority. I liked that.

Yup. Those are the reasons I bowed down from moderating position, was tired of putting up with it.

I just ignore them and anything to do with their site now, so the "affiliates" doesn't bother me as long as their moron kin don't come here.
