The drain part of blood weapon still goes through invincible, since it's considered a magic effect.

But the amount drained is equal to the damage you do, so wouldn't it just drain 0 damage? Or is that number calculated before the original hit's damage is zeroed out by Invincible?

But even assuming Invincible would be thoroughly useless, the argument still holds that even if it heals him ... so long as he doesn't use Blood Weapon more than once, it's just something you cope with, it's done, and then you beat his HP down again. Just like a WHM mob using Benediction on itself. Sure, you have to beat all that HP healed down again, but you won't have to put up with it happening again.
