OK so this person was on my friend list. I don't remember from where or how, but they were there. So they ask me one day for 11k to get something and be able to move forward with SMN.

11k isn't that much money, so I agree to help out as this person has wholeheartedly assured me I'll get my money back just as soon as humanly possible.

Anyway, it was a small sum of money, which was easily recovered doing some minimal farming. Why could this person not go and do that for themselves? Hmmm...
Regardless, I will never lend equipment or even the smallest amount of money to anyone, except a certain few. You already know who you are.

It wasn't the amount, as I would never "lend" anyone much more that that if I don't know them, but the principle of it. Some people are just scumbags, period. And point being is, fuck them. Fuck them right in their stupid asses.
 
Yup in my old LS I lent out over 100k in gil to various people. I didn't really care though since I knew that I would be quitting in the near future. That was about a year ago. Actually I found mining to be very enjoyable and giving that money to my LS members actually kept me in game longer than I would have been otherwise.
 
lol in one of my old LSs I had over 600k lent out for a week. XD
I got it all back...it was just funny cause I'm sooo poor.
