Well, I dunno if this should go here or somewhere else .. Although I dare say the forums to post it under is fairly limited lol ... Anyway ::
I'm still alive, and to those who have wondered why I vanished from FFXI, the reason is simple .. I'm out of town at the moment, call it a Summer Job / Vacation if you will .. I'm working in a Lodge on a southern Texas island (Mustang Island, just north of Padre Island) .. It's a nice place, right on the beach so I can't really complain. Now to explain why I havn't been on FFXI ::
I intended to bring my PS2 down here with me, and it got as far as Corpus Christi ... Some asshole broke into my car and jacked the bag with my PS2, CD player, CD's, etc etc ... Personally I hope he dropped the bag on his foot, and fell into the ocean ..... But because of that, I'm now deprived of FFXI .. I recently aquired a PC, it's a POS .. Won't even run AIM ... SOmetime soon I'm going to go buy myself a new GOOD comp and wireless card ..
I just hope Emily (Ya know, that Hurricane that was Cat. 5 last time I checked) doesn't head north anymore than it already has .. Else I may have to bail ... We're already so close to it, I'll probably have to wear rain boots in my freakin place ...
Anyway, in short ... No, I'm not dead, and no I havn't quit ffxi .. Just a small break, whether unwilling or not .. A break all the same
