Blue Mage: Employing the legendary arts of Aht Urhgan, these formidable fighter-mages employ elegantly curved blades for close combat, while decimating their enemies from afar with fell magic mastered from their opponents
 
Hmm, not particuarly informative yet. Seems like we're definitely getting more than just a blue mage though. Wonder what the new mission chain will be like?

I dont see any Geomancers.. Does this mean Blue mage will be the only new job? - . - I want more stuff to be shown.

SE already said BLU wont be the only new job.
 
I was thinking about quitting... Guess I'll wait.. :P
 
considering how large the "New jobs" section seem to be, I'm guessing three maybe?

and considering Lamias' are necromancer-type mobs, maybe that's a job we'll see? <.<; I dunno... just hoping XD
 
Geomancers are a good possibility. Last I heard they'd be new tank jobs which use elemental shields to reduce damage or some crap like that. Also does anyone think lamias are Necromancers? Seems like it to me, could be another job.
 
I wish SE would post more info on this job...i just came back to quetzalcoatl and so im starting all over again and i dont wanna lvl a WAR when /WHM is better for BLU or something like that....I cant wait to be one of the 100,000,000,000,000 BLU seeking in dunes.

Heh I just wan't to see what other jobs there will be. Although as my sig indicates I am gonna be playing BLU :D
 
Nothing is really known about BLU yet. Also that armor could be just a general suit that is available in one of the new expansion areas, but could also be their AF. Lol idk, but SE needs to give more info on the job.
 
Meh, it's gotta be 73sh. When CoP came out they were showing the igquira suit, etc.

Well I'm all excited about the beautiful scenery we're getting. Has anyone taken a look at the pictures? Awesome! & the new mobs will give me some ideas for fan-fiction! Yaaay!

And you're definitely right Aly, those new areas look incredible. Seeing as how SE is making this expansion for more solo content/low to mid level content it should be readily accessable (Compared to the areas you can only access after completing the Promyvions in CoP).

Personally, I don't care if they're invincible. I just hope they always have that blank, diluted, hopped-up-on-smack look in their eyes.

Or at least that we will, at some point, be able to get a belt like the Mandragora Belt that changes us into drug-filled penguins. At last, I may be able to fulfill my lifelong goal...
