I'm rather disappointed right now and kind of pissed off.

I can't even play the game due to Game Guard errors, but it's not even the same kind of problems that I've been seeing others have on the AionSource forums. I can't even get into the game, while others report errors after already being logged into the game.

What's worse is that for 1 of the 2 errors I get, there's a solution on the NCSoft website, so I did that and I still receive the same error. Wonderful.

This is really freaking pissing me off. They need to just throw out Game Guard altogether.
 
The game is essentially unplayable atm. I managed to hit level 13 despite the ridiculous rubberbanding and ping spikes, but that may be as far as I get before they fix this shit.
 
This lag is absolutely insane. Hit level 8 before the game imploded upon itself.
 
At least you guys can play the game. I can't even get past the launcher after pressing "Play".

Seriously..I login and lag..then die. Worst OB i've ever ever been in. I'm not sure what they were thinking this was gonna be like (referring to NcSoft). I wonder if it's patch 1.5.. or were they not expecting this man people?
 
Be nice if they'd actually take the time to let us know what the problem is and that they're working on it.
 
I've been having some trouble even getting the forums to load. Hopefully this will work, at least a little.
 
Well they brought the servers down lets see if they can fix the prob. *crosses fingers*
 
I'm still having Game Guard issues. Fun fun, buddy of mine just got in the game though, so things are up again.
 
Gameguard is so good, I move that we get a massive petition going in order to apply at LEAST 3 seperate versions of GameGuard to ALL MMO's, not just Aion!

Seems game is working for the most part. I can play and do stuff, but I still lag behind for 3-4 seconds here and there.

Close down the NCSoft launcher fully, deactivate your anti-virus and firewall, delete the entire GameGuard folder, then start the launcher up. Wait for GameGuard to download and install, then start the game.

Do not activate your anti-virus and firewall while in the game or when starting up or it is likely you will feel its wrath...
 
Wow, it was fine before the downtime, now it's completely unplayable...

Edit: Clicked repair, waited 5 mins and now no lag at all again.

game is playing perfectly for me now, got to level 15 today on my templar.
 
Majority of our Legion is beta testing on the server, Kaisinel, Asmodian side. I believe this is the server we are selecting for launch day. Game name is Xnosis

I did this, still did not work. So I uninstalled Aion and am now completely downloading the OBT client... which is going to take for fucking ever.. but oh well.
