Ahh good to know. I thought maybe they didn't want us taking screenies in beta or something.

My group is 100% going Elyos btw, so we'll be representing the pansy looking side on whatever server we end up on.
 
Dude... Jazper.. I am so jealous of your graphics. ; ; I wish my computer was better. All I have is enough to run at the low end so my crap looks horrible.

I had a screen shot up when my brothers came over the other day and they looked at it and thought I was playing WoW. ; ;

I accidentally took these pictures while I was playing, but they're the only screens I did have.

We need to be on the same server man. We could use a good ally with your Legion when the shit is about to hit the fan. I could see KDO calling Undercon (and vice versa) for aid when defending strongholds in the abyss, especially against Falsey and his goons :nono:.

/blush :ph34r:. Thanks for sharing your pix though Ecks. Yours actually looks pretty good for low settings ;). I installed Aion on my dual core AMD turion laptop with ATI Radeon X1200 graphix, but of course I wasn't able to test it out. The login screen didn't look too bad at 800X600 with everything set to low so I was curious how it would look, and you answered my questions :) . How old is your rig btw? Can it accept a PCI-E 2.0 X16 vidcard? I am currently selling the card that spit out those pictures for 120+shipping. It's a 1 week old HIS TurboX HD4850 card with 512Megs of GDDR3 Ram on it. I'm getting rid of this card because it didn't get along with some components in my rig and would cause FFXI to intermittently crash. I had no issues playing Crysis Warhead or Aion or Wow so I dunno. It most likely will work with any other machine out there just not my setup.

Yeah they didn't want us to take pix before but they dropped the non disclosure act crap before the first beta so we're good to go.

Not sure about how many we need but I wouldn't mind joining up with former XI'ers...my bro's in as well =D and I have a vent server too =D

I skipped about 28 pages, somewhat interested in the game. Most Korean MMOs are grind fests how bout this one? Bots are also a big problem I've heard, I guess they are working on getting rid of it?

No worse than any game I've played to date. No idea about bots and crap, but Aion uses that gameguard crap to block third party useage so I'd imagine it'd be limited.

...unless you call me wtfpwning Jazper w/my asmo alt hax.

From what I've read, NCwest will be working hard to stop the bots, and their first step is the gameguard crap which kinda helps (but hinders people from logging in too). People who are playing in the eastern regions only attribute the rampant bots, especially the chinese servers, to the poor management/lax attitude of the NC outfit managing those servers in that region. I'm not condoning bots in any way, but some legit players on those servers don't mind it so much since they just farm the opposing faction bots/RMT for abyss points. Some players even stated that the Aion economy is pretty "big" (and I'm guessing what they mean is it's driven by many different factors) that the RMT/bots hardly make a dent. You also have to take into account quick repop timers for resources/mobs and the instancing of many prime targets. They apparently also have the IP ban mechanisms in place for Chinese IP's so we'll see how that goes.


....and Ana, yeah that's right homie, you'll need to use hax to even come close to pwn me, bra. :spiteful:
 
does aion have any kind of AH system in place yet? I was so curios
 
So right now the level cap is 50? The more I look into it the better it sounds
