I feel you Dej, it's kinda retarded the servers arent even large enough to manage those who bought the preorder of the game... I dont even get a queue...

Gathering quests are a bitch, have to compete with so many people.
 
The que is capped around 3000 I think so if you just keep trying you might get one eventually... 4 hour wait time for me right now. I might get on just in time to go to bed yay!

Welp, not entirely sure yet. Knowing myself I'll probably have every singe class possible, but may start out as Sorc or Templar. I love tanking but I've done it on every single game, so i may try to just go dps for a change.

How bout you buddy? Gonna play the crazy EU Swedish server?

Ps: moved up from 4million to 2560 in line, 4hrs 16 mins to go.
 
This Queue is disheartening. Maybe once retail hits shelves, you should expect a queue. But this is ridiculous. Considering they know how many people would be trying to play by the number of preorder keys used, there shouldn't have even been a single problem.

What's worse is you can't even create characters while waiting in line.
 
Im starting up a templar and a sorcerer. Gonna be playing the sorcerer exclusivly with a rl friend in a 2 sorc glasscannon duo, and templar on my "free time". :P

I love to tank to. That and healing. Melee DPS is generally mindnumbingly dull for me. Only time mnk was really fun for me in ffxi was when it was used as a tank for low-manned situations etc.

And yeah, rolling on perento, which seems to have the largest population of swedish players.

Ps: Moved down from 2560 to 2333 but the estimated wait time went up to 4hrs 32mins now. Great.

Clerics are pretty fun. Questing for levels solo, you'll feel invincible. It just takes a while to kill, but once you get your first DP ability, you'll also never have mana issues ever again for solo play.
