Bad bad RDM. Well, she's a good RDM if you don't like the mob to be enfeebled, if you don't prefer to be refreshed, and if you don't like back up curing.

I don't have all the conversations, but this is from last Saturday when I partied with her.
Not to mention!!! She has one Electrum Ring, body piece, gloves, pants, boots, and a Dark staff. That's it.

Last night, I get the pleasure of partying with her again. Now, I'm usually one to shut my mouth unless someone provokes me first, and throughout the party (Which got 1000EXP before it broke), I would barely get Refresh, and people would get hate, the DRK got down to 3 HP before I could successfully pull the hate with just a voke.

The last fight, she didn't Refresh anyone, and well... the SMN died, I died, but I decided to HP.

She called a GM on me, for what reason I don't know. She's the one who warped out on us while 2 of us were dead and the other 2 were trying to run away. Yes we had a fifth, he just warped out.

Oh why? Because my boyfriend would tell me everything you're saying?

Well the GM is investigating me. GM can't do anything because it's your choice to be in a party, you can leave whenever you want. Someone called me a bitch in Party, and the GM said that to me. Which means I'm off the hook .

Could you point out where the "hook" is? That you called her a slut? Wtf is Blist for...hell i have been called way worse than that and the GMs just ignored it.

Hell should have asked if they can send her to jail for sucking at her job.

Ok, that is just stupid. Have you ever played pld? There's this thing called MP and they use that to keep hate. Now what does refresh do? It keeps you with mp. If you want decent exp and chains, enter refresh of juices, etc. Can they hold hate without refresh. Definetely. How long can they hold hate? Until they loose their mp. Don't make such a stupid assumption again please. And I'm not saying you "need" refresh, but god, come on!

If you want decent exp and chains, enter refresh of juices, etc. Can they hold hate without refresh. Definetely. How long can they hold hate? Until they loose their mp. Hmm....I've been in plenty a party where we didn't have a RDM or a BRD and we were getting chains and very little downtime. Actually I've seen good PLDs hold hate for awhile without very much magic use at all. You can't cop out of being a shitty PLD by saying it's the <insert other job here> fault. Hell I know PLDs that bring ingredients to make juices so they can be fully independant of refreshers and such and keep TP up for WS. So whatever you say I don't care I stand by my original post and feel that that is exactly what happened.

I have sen many a pld hold hate and have "decent" chains in pts w/o brds or rdms. I was just pointing out, if you have a rdm, it is their JOB to refresh reguardless. Idk who you are. It's like a bard not using ballad, what's the point? There isn't. If a pld has juices/mp regeneration, then a rdm/brd isn't needed as much, but you shouldn't have to go to all those lengths just for mp. For a pld mp=hate. I'm not dowing your opinion, just shedding light on my view. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course

I've grped wit her at CN a while ago on my WHM, and had the same problems, she hardly refreshed, didnt enfeeble, so I took over that lol, she had like 5 pieces of equipment on. Also was lvl 40ish, so she didn't have a dark staff, was some crap sword, and a bodypiece, legs, hands, and I don't remember anything else. God, I'm glad that pt disbanded lol.

Paladin can hold hate without MP, but only for so long. Without MP, we are restricted to our Provoke, JA, and enmity gear...All of our hate holding JA's are 5 minute timers..It's usually best to try and use just one per battle...But without MP you would most likely be forced to use multiple, which leads to the next battle having all of your JA's down.

Unless your DD absolutely suck, you do need your MP to hold hate.

I have to say playing a galka PLD there has definately been MP issues. However it is possible even as a galka to hold hate w/o refresh. On the flip side refresh is AMAZING for a pld to have. When I got my first refresh party with my PLD I was totally amazed at the difference as far as the effort to keep hate. When I have refresh up it more or less isnt used to keep hate but to decrease downtime. As soon as I have hate pretty well stapled I can use my MP to cure myself to decrease downtime (not to simply keep hate) and still have plenty of MP left for a chain. Refresh also helps me keep from kneeling/healing and losing TP. Being able to start off a mob with a 100+ dmg WS is beneficial to have when trying to build initial hate.

In short. You can hold hate w/o refresh but having refresh is very beneficial to the party as a whole. But to each thier own.

lol That Aisuka yeah as nooby as they come. we were friends and she use to always tell me how her pt members would bitch. lol now i know why, and it was her all along. >.> i hope she doesn't make it past 55. god i was hoping she would be stuck at 50 but noooooo someone helped her with G-1. mean? yes but hey......maybe she can use the time to learn how to do her job..

Seems like she's a hard headed lady though, but if you are her friend perhaps she'd liksten to you?
I fully understand your frustration Bluefrost, I really do, but why not try to talk with here once more, even though you ain't partying together.
I know that you could get her to listen to you and perhaps help her with growing as a rdm.

lol yeah we were friends but that girls head is just....there's some screws missing. And yes i told her about her role as RDM. but in the end there's just something wrong with her. Aisuka Do you need any help?

Anyway, I'm not saying it's impossible for a PLD to keep hate without Refresh, it's just very very very difficult. Yes, we can keep hate with Provoke, Shield Bash (if we don't have Earth Staff on), and our enmity gear on, but I'm level 54, which means I have a whopping +2 to my enmity.


I have a feeling Shaunnessy likes to play devil's advocate.
