So yesterday I was lvling my 27 rdm shield skill/parrying skill in meriphataud mountains while waiting on friends to do Windurst mission 3-1, when who should pop directly in front of me? Coo Keja the Unseen :) Knowing a NM in this part of the world at this lvl would most likely pwn me I hit Chainspell and nuke the hell out of it.. by the time I had next to no mp, realizing he still had close to full HP I slept it, disengaged and booked it to Castle O, meanwhile calling for backup on my LS from my high lvl tutor red mage Ryu. Luckily he was in Jeuno, jumped on a pony and booked it to the Castle. 10 mins later we're engaged again - this time it was us who had the last laugh... UNTIL he Mijin Gaukerd us nearly killing me. Fortunately however, I not only survived the battle (cure IV ftw) but we got the Ajase Bead Necklace to drop :) Being that it's a level 30 badass necklace my mentor and friend Ryu passed it so now I'm 5/5 with notorious monster drops from around the world this month. Much love! Now I just gotta lvl up some to use it.

He wants to knwo the Time of Death for the mob, so he can guesstimate when the respawn will be ^^
 
lmao Ohhh ok he was killed around 7-8PM EST. From what I hear it's a 21-24 hour respawn. G'luck ^^

That necklace looks not-too-shabby; I'll try to grab myself one :) He spawns in the area near where Waraxe Beak does right?
 
I saw him pop directly in front of the castle and a little to the right (facing the entrance). Like I said I took a crack at em and failed by myself so I ended up just watching him roam for the next 10-15 mins keeping my eye out if anyone else tried to take em. He basically just walks in circles directly in front of the castle.. sometimes a little left of it, sometimes a little right of it, but always very close by. Oh, a side note when he spawned i watched several more yags spawn nearby him.. coincidence?
 
I considered camping him at 4pm today.

I got there at 3pm, logged out to play some Counter-strike and came back at 3:45, and Meeze was standing there camping him too :D

So I left it. I'll get it another time :)
 
meh, won't be tomorrow, I have to work. It'll prolly be next Tuesday or something. not an important drop on my list, either way :D
 
Yea I came out of Castle O once, he was up, killed no drop, came back next day got drop, he completed my lvl 30 r/ex item from the respective mobs in front of the 3 beastmen HQs, Ajase necklace from Coo Keja, tortoise shield from Bo'Who, and garde pick from Meteormauler
Anyways congratulations on the ajase bead necklace!
 
ooo that shield looks pretty money. I'm gonna see if I cant get some levels then camp that bastard, thanks for the post and congrats on your bead drops as well.
 
Figure instead of starting a new thread I'm just gonna post my good times in a continuation of this thread so it doesn't offend anyone about too many good times posts in a month lol. I'm a 34 rdm now and I thought what the hell, I'm not doing anything, lets talk to Luto and try to get my npc quest. Surprisingly enough she gave it to me (which she didn't do earlier last week, I'm guessing it's a fame thing since I'm not lvl 40). Anyway I finally get to the Dragon part, I'm stocked up on drink and ether, go in there, hit chainspell and have at it. My dude jumps in, we're kicking ass, he's maybe 3 hits from dead I swear when he uses his petrify attack. I go from near full hp to death just standing still letting this thing chomp on my head. I thought what the hell, freak accident, get a raise from a passerby in Ghelsba and try it again after weakness wears. Get back in there, this time my npc eats it and I have no chainspell to try it a third time. So lucky for me, third time 2 hours later, he uses Wind Breath instead of his petrify attack - needless to say without me standing still doing nothing this punk goes down!! psh lvl 40 cap who needs it? =p
