Hi from another guy from Midgardsormr.
I'm a European (from the UK) who's been playing the US version since 2004. I've been on Midgard all my life and am very sad that we're losing it. I'm also sad I'm going to be losing my linkshells and am worried about what the other announcements SE have made (eg level cap changes) are going to do to the endgame communities in FFXI.
I'd like to be as positive as I can even though I do feel like my house is about to be knocked down. I'm prepared to give it a go on Quetzal (I think I spelt that right!) but have a feeling that my time in this game is coming to an end as there now doesn't seem to be any point trying to get that rare/ex 75 gear for my jobs (PLD, BLM, SAM, RDM, THF, DRK, WHM) or doing Einherjar, Sea, Sky, Dynamis, HNMs etc. I hope we can all get on with our new shared world but I don't blame native Quetzalarians from feeling angry about the large influx of immigrants any more than you should blame us for being angry about losing our home, linkshells, delivery box and auction house items etc.
Anyway, Hi - I'll probably see some of you soon!
