Yeah, because someone having multiple personalitites, all with massively varying skill levels, as well as them camping the same NM on and off for weeks, if not months, usually for days in a row at bare minimum, and still having crappy gear despite having gotten certain camped-for-weeks-to-months NMs several times, isn't suspicious AT ALL.
Sorry, but most people that are accused of being gilsellers, simply put, are. All right lol I had a talk with Neophytal last night and I pretty much tried to explain to the guy that Shadow had no involvement with the MPK whatsoever. I Know shadow irl and the game how? CUZ he's my Brother in law and I know he wouldn't even try to do this shit because he's a good player in the game. Thing is he doesn't even know Neophytal that much has no beef with him until now =\. Maybe it was Istar or alinabird ,but shadow? no way in hell he only laughed because istar was near the opos trying to flash them away.
Another thing neo you didn't mention how they raised your whm right after ... if they MPK'd like you so said so.. why the hell would they raise him/her? The brd came back to apologize.. shadow probably didn't because probably he didnt know wtf was going on, but yeah he probably should of apologized. After talking to you for what 1hr I couldn't get it through your head lol because you were so pissed at the fact that he laughed at istar for not being able to get hate back from the opos.

OH another thing... lol I met alina and her gang last night... in castle Zvahl asked them for a Raise 3 and a lil help which was no problem for them. Yes I know they're "Gilsellers" ,but after that and all of this I think sometimes they're nicer than other players on this server. He helped his lil sis get a key there as well even after all of this he still helped us cuz that's the kind of guy he is. Only on here for one reason... cuz he's my bro and he's family so i'm going to back him up as much as I can.

Alina zoned before anyone else, so the opo opos would have stopped, if that was the only person attacked.. which according to you, is the case.
Istar was at my xp camp for 30 seconds talking in SAY... opo-opo's run fast, a "Flash" would instantly attack him and kill a WHM, especially one with WHM/SMN (and gimp smn sub at that).

Istar was whm/smn. He was the first to arrive at our camp and tried to start a conversation. I remember he was there for a while because I was hesistent and slow to respond to his questions. He was there for at least 30 seconds with alienbird and the pld who were standing by fairly calm. Then Shadow comes flying by with 3 oppos right on his tail. How would a whm/smn pull 3 oppos and get that far ahead of them? And no it wasn't an accident because their brd and thf had been d/c for a good while, so they had stopped pulling altogether. Additionaly, if you have exped in rancor den you would know you have to go out of your way and take extra effort to pull oppos by 'accident'.
The bard didn't even know what had happened until I had told her. I had been chatting with her most of the night until she d/c. Her party had disbanded by the time she got back online (which was about 20-30 mins after the mpk).
I don't really know any of these poeple very well but I was invited to a party by Alinabird and she seemed fine to me. It was during a long dry spell for me and I hadn't had an invite for days. I know her english isn't 100% but so what? I think everyone, myself included, is too quick to scream gil-seller and attribute all sorts of evil deeds to them because of it. Alot of chinese players just can't communicated very well with us and we assume they're mocking us. Just my 2 gils worth....

Haha.. So I haven't posted in a while, but seeing how this is all very icky, and I'm the one who ended up dead, I figured I'd just chime in a spell. ^~
To clarify, though I can understand perhaps why this is confusing, I raised myself. It's the beauty of being a white mage--ya'know.. reraise. The party with the *very* mean monkies did -not- raise me, nor -offer- to raise me. I died as I zoned, so I left the zone alive, but arrived in the next zone dead. Now, you must understand that this is exceedingly frustrating to me, partially because I'm by far the lowest member of my static, and death certainly doesn't help that and partially because I wasted 5k on my 3 hour food to use it for about 30 minutes. Seems trivial to you, perhaps, but it's just bothersome to me primarily because my death was not the result of my inability to properly do my job, nor the inability of anyone in my static to properly do theirs.
Okay, so.. It is certain that my party does not absolutely know any conversation that went on in the mean monkey party. What we have here are perceptions. And honestly, this is quite a nasty perception. The fact of the matter is, if I may be a little vain, that our static is generally speaking a pretty good party. The core part of the static members have been together since level 10, and the rest of members for about 10 levels. I basically say that to say that we know each other well and run into few problems when we party. A result of that is we kill quickly. That seems kind of long winded to be like, basically, we were clearing the room, which I could imagine is quite frustrating to another party trying to camp there. I don't know that for a fact; I did not ask them.
Here's what I do know. We were still killing those ugly lizards when part of the party that was camping in the Den also came up to the end of the zone where we were camping. As Rones has already stated, they were there for about 30 seconds or more before the mean monkeys whapped me to death. The conversation was very chit chatty. The *white mage* and I must emphasize this, becaus the allegation is that the whm flashed the monkies on accident or however it goes, if I'm correct, is the one who was discussing the disconnect of two of the members. Now, perhaps this is me just giving people too much of the benefit of the doubt, but had I accidentally flashed a monkey that is 15+ levels higher than my party, and that links with the other little monkies in the area, I certainly would *not* be standing around discussing the connection status of my members with another xp party. I would zone out; those monkies hit hard. And yet, that is precisely what happened? Now, like I said.. all I have to go on is perception, but that's one really strange behavior. What concerns me also, was there was no mention of "Oh, btw, because of that member disconnect, we also had some issues with some very slow, but very mean monkies who are on the way and will whap and kill your white mage so we're going to zone." I mean, if nothing else, a shout... a say ... something to the effect of "Zone, Opo-Opos coming" would have been in line. Yes?
So the white mage zones out and who ever was there with the whm. I don't know why. I presume because mpk's are less fun if you die yourself. But again.. just perceptions. Anyway, a matter of seconds later, the ranger comes around the corner with monkies on his butt. Three of them.. cute.. but mean. And he's hauling to make it to zone. Our party chat then gets flooded with "Oh, hell.. zone" etc. Being the white mage, and standing in a standard bard party configuration, I am the single closest member to zone out of my party. The problem is, I was resting, and my silly computer is *slightly* laggy when there are a lot of people, or monkies, or what have you. So Rones (the bard) who is the furthest from zone sneaks/invisi (I don't remember which) himself, and the melee hurry on out of zone right behind the ranger from the other party. Meanwhile, I'm trying to get my very cute mithra butt up so I can zone out too, I mean.. I'm right there.. it's not far at all. The monkies, which thus far we've claimed are really very slow, really are *not* very slow. They were on the ranger's butt, and I was no exception. I didn't stand a chance. I was hit three times before I zoned, and whatever hit me as I zoned is what killed me.
So.. I zoned and I was dead. I reraised myself, /sighed and said in say "Not cute." to which I awaited a response of some kind. Something, "omg, I'm so sorry, we didn't mean to; it was an accident; whatever." If there were crickets in zone, that's all I would have heard. I was offered no apology, I was offered no acknowledgement, nothing. Again, I know I've said it before, but all I have to go on is perception, and I'm sorry, but my perception of the matter just got worse. If it were an accident, wouldn't then have been the opprotune time to mention it? Not several hours later once a GM has been notified and perhaps the other party had time to come up with a plausible story of some sort? Again, I *know* nothing.. I'm just saying how it seems.
Regardless.. that's what happened that nite. As far as this mambo in /tells and the like.. I was discluded (which seems to me, if one were truely apologetic for what his party had done, that I might not only be included, but that I would be primarily and exclusively included.. I don't know.. maybe just me). I know from reading the screen shot that Shadow has a poor attitude, and handled this flame quite immaturely. That, however, is entirely irrelevant to the MPK situation (by the way, what does that stand for? "Malicious Player Kill" seems fitting, 'cause it's just mean, but I don't know). It is apparent that Shadow wants his name cleared, but has not acted in a manner conclusive to that. And.. well.. he hasn't talked to the one person he really should have.. me.
Don't you think had he talked to me.. the person who actually died, and expressed remorse and ignorance for his party's actions that this whole situation would have not gotten nearly this far out of control, and he would have not made himself seem even worse from it? Instead he chose to lay into Neo, who posted a flame because he was mad, and based on our perceptions, rightfully so, and has succeeded only in making himself look like a bad guy, which Mr. Valcristiel insists he is not. Just seems to me that a very immature and improper course of action was taken for this situation, and regardless of whether or not Neo or myself or any of the rest of my party conceed and say that Shadow was sorry and just mixed up in the mess, that he has now, in fact, only managed to further soil his name instead of clearing it?

Saph, you are right, you should of been the person that Istar apologized too. Ill also apologize for me being there at that time, but i will swear on my daughters life that i DID NOT attack those opos. Istar Flashed the opos. They took a long time to get to us, dont know why, but i didnt have anything to do with that. Believe what you want, cause it is a sticky situation that i over reacted to.
