Well, I'm not refering to a child in that title. At least I think not anyway.

I was seeking on RNG 53. Well I get an invite from a player by the name Child. 52 RDM I belive. There were three other members, Alittle (52 NIN), Magicians (ANON), and Gysler (53 BLM). Child rarely spoke, and Alittle didn't speak at all. Gysler was friendly and played his job well.

I ask what Magicians job was to get an idea of what kinda setup we were looking at. Seemed like a good start so far. Child reply's with Magicians = PLER!!! {Understand}? I thought it was a bit weird to have a pl at level 52 but w/e.

Magicians a few minutes later disbands. We are told to gather at Guide Stone for a tele, where Runnings gave us a Teleport-Altep. So the 4 of use head to Kuftal Tunnel. At this time I ask Child where the other two members where, and if they were gonna meet us there. No answer. I then asked in Auto Translate just incase CHild was JA or so. No answer.

Upon arriving at Kuftal Tunnel, There is a 53 PLD waiting, Child passes me lead and has me invite the PLD. I invite, Child, Alittle and Gysler arrive at Kuftal Tunnel minutes after. They arrive and we find a camp, I pass lead back to Child. I ask Child if there was a 6th member coming, seemed to be comunicating just fine in english to me. then he replies w/ "h wait". I have no clue what this meant but, I meant it as wait looking, shame on me for assuming. After waiting for a more Valid response, or inclination of a 6th member, I see Child and Alittle begin playing w/ Datechochin's...... This goes on for about 5 min.

I decide to pipe up and request that they let me know when they are all ready. At that same time, they all but Alittle say "{Ready!}" ....ok but with 5? on Robber Crabs? Only me as DD????

I inquire once again about a 6th member, only reply I get is Child running off tailed by Alittle on /follow. I then give a /sigh. And check Alittle..... All gear was gimped to a sickening level.....lv15 Glpves, NQ version of Bastokan mitts. Lv12 back piece. Suprisingly some of the gear had evasion + on it. Alittle then vokes a crab....

PLD tanks, rdm debuffing, healing, nuking w/e. Killing MP way too fast. Takes about 8 min to kill the crab... Stupid me used Empress Band thinking it would be a decent pt....WRONG!!! We 3/4 a stack of ammo gone, little pulls again with PLD at half health, half MP. BLM has half MP and Child had barely 115 MP.

3 min into killing crab, child somehow takes hate and dies in two - three hits. PLD Invincibes and everyone runs. I was well into next stack of Ammo.

230 xp gained, 7k in ammo gone, EB charge wasted, and 1 hr wasted... I warp and leave.

Child then sends me a tell "Party" Kuftal Tunnell 6/6 members?? ok?
I say no thanks, and explain why I left.

So for about the past 45 min I get an invite to party from child, and the occasion Blind invite from child once every 5 min or so.

I believe Alittle was played by Child, no LS, never talked, and Child didn't want him to tank. So you take it as you will. Just watch out for this liitle duo.
 
Sounds like RMT to me.
 
I didnt know what to make of the whole situation. And I try not to flame, but this really meritted it in my opinion
 
I'd personally guess RMT, especially if the mages were Taru. RMT are pretty notorious for throwing the "best-suited race" cliche on their jobs. They especially enjoy being Bastokan since it lets them float around LL for a few levels as well. =\
 
The only reason I don't think RMT is that they were Rank 2 (I know this doesn't matter, but I never seen ranked RMT) And RDM was Hume, NIN was Taru.

there is no edit button on the FB. but that is to weird for words the only time i use am emp band before the fighting begins is with my static. if i were you i would have left after the first fight.
 
I would have disbanded when "Child" started ignoring me. They do sound like RMT to me in that:

a) they required a PL at level 52. (I know regular players who rely on PLs, but they're remarkably fewer and farther between than RMTs).
b) like Mishaela said, they were immediately in the "best-suited race" for their jobs,
c) the gimpy-ass gear they were wearing (yeah, sure, in recent history we've been shown that gimps know no affiliation, but cmon...RMT take the cake: i'll bet they were wearing Tourmaline earring and Amber earring?)

Sorry this crap happened, but I'd not have put up with all that, starting with the ignoring.
 
i have never use my band before the party begins, i always wait out a bit, 2-4 fight before i used my band, if the pt is doing fine, i'll use it, but if pt is struggling, i know pt won't last long

Pretty sure they're RMT. I was in Gustav the other evening soloing, when a group of similarly geared, named, and grouped people appeared. The leader spammed me several times to join their party, but I refused. There was a legit DRK int he party and I felt bad for him. He eventually asked me for a warp II.
 
I don't post on QCDN much. But I'll say this, I know they are RMT. They have been trying to gear themselves to pass off as slightly poorly geared players nowadays. I have also seen other regular players party up with blatantly obvious RMT. But yeah. Fair warning: these guys are RMT.
 
Bah forgot to add. Magicians is a WHM, Alittle is usually a RNG. So yeah. They are starting to level more than one job. That group of RMT, I've even seen PLD/NINs at Behemoth camps... so... they are trying to blend it, but they stick out fairly well still.
 
I had a party with Gysler once. He /shut down in the middle of a fight because he had to go to work. Did a good job, but reaaaaally wished he had told the leader that he had to leave soon, instead of sending the leader a /tell "I have to work now" during a fight, and just leaving. It caused a 4/6 party wipe.
