It'll more than likely last at least another year, probably two from whenever they start combining servers. Maybe even longer, look at some older MMOs that are still going. 2-3 years is practically a guarantee at this point though.

i love the windower.. it works fantastic for me.. got so tired of having to log out to go look something up.. i dont know where everyone else gets thier windowers from.. but this works for me.. havent had a prob and i swear.. my graphics look so much better with it ..lol dont know how that works but it does~

Mine is fucked up too. Whenever I get in the game using Windower my character runs in circles and my camera spins around and around and I can't stop it. I deleted the Recast plugin, and it still happens. I tried signing in the game using no Windower and it still happens. WTF this sucks

Seriously, it's getting old.
They upgraded their entire game engine to DX9, and there are some bugs. Seriously, cry some more. The only reason this is noteworthy is because it's Square-Enix.

No, they didn't change to DX9. The game is still running on DX8 using DX8 calls. The lag has nothing to do with the DX version and everything to do with messing with HID drivers.

Are you sure about this? They haven't said anything directly, but given the plans they had to upgrade, and the fact that there are some minor graphical/engine improvements, I'm led to believe they did something of that nature.

Either way, something changed, it didn't go right, same difference.

a switch to dx9 would be a massive graphical and fps improvement for anyone not running a total shit pc.
