All right! Our birds are growing up =D

I hadnt been able to check on mine in the last three days, but I finally got to last night and it had grown up to the second stage. It is yellow with white tips, which I thought meant it would be white, but it appears there is no white bird in that pic, so who knows. (as long as hes not yellow or black I don't really care)

Apparently my chocobo 'is very patient and will be good for carrying packages' so i set him on that for one day, to see if it helps his stats. Has anyone tried Scolding their bird yet? Are there any +'s to that at all?
 
if you look on SE's site, it tells you what all of the options do. IE: scolding lowers affection but raises something. i dont remember off hand.
 
Grrr I don't want a yellow choco >.> But lil BaronFier is yellow w/ white tips. But looking...There's 4 teens, and 7 adult colors....There a chance that it won't turn yellow? Anything but yellow, lol x.x;; I don't wanna spend another month trying to raise these birds >.> They smell like wet diapers.

Mines 16 days old and still says the same shit. LOL Poor in everything but lately it's been very perky and is in excellent condition like I care I just want him to grow already. Sometimes he's hungry enough for 3 feedings and sometimes he's full after 2 so I stuff the little guy. LOL My friend's also say's it's perfect for carrying things. Also I learned a story but it never gives me the option to tell the story so what good that does. LOL on a side note for everyone I beilieve your chocobo meets another chocobo named Spring. Kinda funny my IRL Best friend's name is Spring. Thought that was funny.
Is there a set day he gets to the second stage of growth? Doesn't SE say it takes about a month? so I'm thinking 16days is half through a month so when's this guy going to grow up? BTW mines a girl her names BigEasy that's right you fella chocobo's out there come and get her. ^^

Mine's been sick for 5 days despite giving it the recommended medicine every day. AAAAARGH! >< So finally I put it on rest. I hope she wakes up :(
 
Oh god. The playing with children plans funny the first time you see it.

Anyway once you get the option to go on regular walks, it's pointless to do short walks anymore if you were all ready given the story. Even though the short walks change location when the chocobo changes stages, theres no new event. I came across Zopago with Blood out, and he just said the same lines he said when my chocobo was a chick after giving me the story.
 
On the walk (regular) from Windurst, which takes you to Tahrongi Canyon, my choco and I encountered the npc from San d'Oria, Hantelion(sp?), and became friends with Air. SE only knows why he was so far from home, but perhaps this will lead to another story learned? (I've encountered him, & Air, twice now. No new story as yet, though.)

Mentioning stories... anyone get a response/benefit on using one?

[Make that 3 meetings with Hantelion now. Got his story this time.]

i believe that it Increases your chickens Receptivity. Much as having it "Play with children" would.
the benifit being you can read it the story multiple times per day, whereas the other is only once.

Allegedly, since theres 5 stories and 5 abilities, the stories will teach abilities if your chocobos intelligence is high enough.

And yes, I encountered the San d'Orian guy too, glad that theres a way to not need to raise in all 3 cities to get all the stories.
