haha true. He later became one in the thousands of star wars games out there but he didn't originate from one.

Like turnip said, he didnt start off as one, be he became an iconic one later on. if anything, most star wars video games were actually good and successful for having originated from a movie.

I wouldn't say it downright sucks, but yes darth vader isn't really that good of a villain.

Sephiroth is the best villain imo.

And ya, Sephiroth was a better villain, but there were even cooler villains. Kefka, for example, was more awesome imo. Id was also sweet from Xenogears. But not really a villain (though he was too). There were many cool villains
 
I've got to agree with Elemmire. Kefka was one of my all-time favorite's from the video game genre. He was pretty twisted, though you didn't really notice back then, if back then was when you were like, eight or nine.

Sephiroth was good, (and don't get me wrong since I loved VII along with many other FF games) but it was pretty overrated since it was the first FF for a lot of people.
 
Darth Vader and Sephiroth are the same. Victims. Big, crybaby victims.

Kefka and Sarah Kerrigan FTW.
 
Another Kefka fan here... Sephiroth is over rated.

I was rocked to my core upon hearing ele not liking something. I always assumed from ele's such positive glass always full demeanor that there wasn't even the possibility of a negative toned comment to leave ele's mouth. =P

But more on topic I digress. We all know dr. Robotnik was the most sinister enemy of all time. Or possibly the evil captain planet who spewed sludge and Nazi hate all over the real captain planet! He was only defeated by love and friendship from the planateers. Close call!
