At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI maintenance on all worlds. During this period, FINAL FANTASY XI will be unavailable.

Maintenance operations will delete any reservations for Pankration matches. Players who are scheduled to participate in Pankration matches, those who will enter Assault, Salvage or Einherjar areas, or those who will participate in Dynamis or Limbus at the time of the maintenance, we ask that you please wait until maintenance is complete before engaging in these activities. Please note that we cannot replace items that are lost during the maintenance process.

I'd guess it has something to do around the lines of this and this.

Alla is stupid everyone knows for Nvidia cards you need a special driver to run FFXI properly. Also servers go down all the time.

Well mostly I was referring to the first one, but the 2nd one was also a recent post about random errors, so I thought i'd toss it in.

Because it's been known that Nvidia cards require a driver downloaded from Nvidia's site to run properly.

It most likely a general maintenance , no set goal. They also may be setting up for that event next week as well. Only thing that surprise me is they didn't put it in the server message.

SE never says whats being fixed until during or after the maintenance.

I'd guess it might have something to do with the implementation of the Feast of Swords event..

They felt too many people are losing money with Dynamis now since drop rates blow and runs cost 1 mil in a dead economy. To fix this, they're lowering drop rates in punishment for complaints with a PS Note Saying: "Fuckin deal with it."

Every shell I know of now has someone sponsoring the run for a relic.

Tho, prices on currency has gone done alot..I remember 4 years ago...

40-60k for single lol.......... ^O^; lvling relic is easier these days, esp if you have 100 craft.
