Isomiau said:right, i was gonna edit this in, but iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii submit, that it can be no more than a 2nd party program. Since he, is in fact, the creator. There exists SE and him, no 3rd party. Semantics are fun.
Thats stupid logic. First Party is the subject itself(game, platform, etc.) Second Party is any hardware/program/whatever using ties to a First Party developer(Copyright consent.) Third Party is any hardware/program/whatever that interacts with the First Party with zero ties to the First Party developer.
It's Third Party. End of story.
If Square-Enix ordered to have someone make a program, and gave the OK to run it, then it's second party.
A better example is this:
Nintendo is a First Party developer for the Gamecube, Wii, and DS.
Camelot Studios makes the Mario Golf games for Nintendo, but they aren't a Nintendo subdivision, so they are Second Party.
Square-Enix is a Third Party developer for Nintendo consoles.
There are no semantics behind your post, because you are making things up and they are completely wrong. By your ideas, any third party program is considered a second party program, because someone had to make it.
