At the following time, we will be performing FINAL FANTASY XI maintenance on all worlds to accompany the version update and implementation of a World Merge. Along with this maintenance, we will also be performing maintenance on the FINAL FANTASY XI Linkshell Community beta version.

During this period, both FINAL FANTASY XI and the FINAL FANTASY XI Linkshell Community beta version will be unavailable.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

* This maintenance will be accompanied by a version update. After maintenance is complete, the update will automatically begin after you press the "Play" button. After that, please follow the instructions on the screen.

* You may receive errors such as "POL-1160" or "POL-0010" during the download process due to heavy server traffic. If you are unable to access the update, we ask that you please wait a while and then try again.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in making this a smooth version update.

* During this maintenance, a World Merge will be implemented.

Source World Destination World

Fairy -> Sylph
Kujata -> Valefor
Remora -> Leviathan
Midgardsormr -> Quetzarcoatl
Hades -> Cerberus
Seraph -> Bismarck
Garuda -> Lakshmi
Pandemonium -> Asura

We ask that all players on any source world retrieve all items stored in the Delivery Box or Auction House.

For more details regarding the World Merge, please refer to "Announcing the World Merge" in the Information section.

* the World Transfer Service, which is currently suspended, will reinstate service after the completion of registration server maintenance, which is scheduled to take place following the FINAL FANTASY XI maintenance. For more details, please refer to "Registration Server Maintenance (Mar. 23)."

* The schedule for the reinstatement of the Character Reactivation Service, which is currently suspended, will be announced at another time.

* Update details will be available on Mar. 22, 2010.

WTF is a Quetzarcoatl?

Watch the maintenance end Monday night and the server actually be renamed Quetzarcoatl. I'd laugh my ass off.

And both Midgard and Quetz have to re-roll names. I'm busting some teeth. lol

Looks like I'll prolly be playing Lunar most of the day. (Been trying to beat that off and on)

...Hopefully I can get FFXI fully workin' by then though, Had to run my brother into dyn with it half installed. (Only Zilart installed of the expansion packs. but that happens)

hmm, i didnt realize my server was merging with asura

Great mon 22nd is my day off too, figures SE would give me an early birthday present.

Well at last we finally know when doomsday is. j/k :)

But another reason i'm glad i have 13 right now. I'll be looking for midgar players when i have my update finished. Elizara how about an avatar sweep to celebrate?

As usual, a sucky time for the maintenance, but at least we have a date now and the speculation can end.

I don't see why not! I've been doing them lately for gil since I've been chikken of the AH over here (Hey, gotta pay for limbus somehow) but I wouldn't mind doing them for fun ^^

Hopefully my update will go uninterupted overnight so I can log in and arrange my mule thingies once I get out of the shower on tuesday morning.
Knowing SE there will most likely be daily emergency maintainance for the following at least two weeks... on EU prime time.

22nd is my Birthday...... ASSHOLES... I booked the day off...... no point now

Finally I been wondering all freaking month when it was gonna happen. What sucks is I probably wont even be able to start downloading til Tuesday morning because even if I try Monday once maint ends I usually get kicked a bunch.

Kinda excited to finally meet all the new neighbors.

If I weren't in endgame, I'd be looking forward to the Sylph-Fairy merger myself. As it is... I'm rather dreading it. Then again, it may be what finally gets me to retire from endgame...
