Allakhazam Karma system

My karma just got shot through the floor for posting this, which is persuading me to quit allakhazam entirely.

Really, I don't think that this is a very appealing item at all. Sure it's -5% Physical Damage, but the +5% Magic Damage can be crippling against BLM/RDM mobs, and later in the 70s, this can even be more horribly crippling against Roc, Simurgh, and in the upper levels King Behemoth, most of the gods, and Kirin.
I'm just wondering if you out there that use this ring, use equipment swap macros to go back and forth between this/VIT/DEF/Hercules rings? Or do you just leave this ring on at all times and risk the increase in damage on casting mobs?

Yes, if my karma goes under 2.25, 75% of people on the boards cannot see my threads or posts, and the reason why it's gone so low I have no idea.

Oh, and might I mention, 90% of updates are just whats-her-name changing the pictures to have her in the monster/NPC's photo. Can you say insecure?

That would be kirin ^^; He is a smn but can use earth based magic.

Anyway, the Jelly rings is defiantly worth it '-' 5% more magic damage generally does not make much of a difference.. the spells where the damage increase is significant are likely to kill you anyway with or without the ring. Also, you can simply take the ring off when you know you are going up against a heavy caster and wear a VIT+ one instead or something ^^;. As for your rating down... you were asking an honest question, and in no way seemed offensive, so no, i don't think you deserved it.
