and as Analcarrot, he is really cool, and a pretty good player, his name isnt uniorginal IMO, its more of a creative dumb name, but the person isn't that bad, or whatever...

Ok sorry to be posting in this beast, but wow, this made me crack up. About as funny as the time in game when someone (long time ago forgot whom) must have been drunk as hell. So hes going off in LS chat about random stuff. Something bad happened somewhere and he makes a comment. Then....long pause....KAAAHHHHHNNNN! I was laughing for like five minutes.

About this thread. Man I feel bad about making it way back when. Kinda naive of me I suppose. I figure I had seen just one too many spinoffs of Cloud that day. The names are only annoying because we have seen the movie/read the books/played the game. For instance, Legalus, the only incarnation of the name I really have met...is a great guy. We spent time together way back when killing things for our Norg fame. Now if none of us had heard of Lord of the Rings, his name would be original. Just as if someone makes a movie with the name Faedryth of their main character, suddenly my name would be a joke too. Perhaps people like THEIR name, and it has the unfortunate similarity to a well know and overused name. So sorry to be posting again as this thread is super old, just thought Id apologize for my immaturity! Hindsight is always 20/20. Not even gonna try and remember that "so you are a badass" thread!
