well i had the choice tonight between I am legend, Or taking my daughter to see her first theatre movie. So i chose the latter since it meant more, and jason lee is me fave actor.
Pretty solid kid flick. Had its funny moments and the story followed really well with the original, minus the slaving of the chipmunks for their fame part which was just uneasy seeing. It was very well acted and actually worked.
Tho jason lee yelling ALVIN!!! sounded forced to me every time, that was my only gripe.
Great movie, check it out!

My daughter wants to see this, and thanks to the commercial keeps going around the house saying "bow chicka wow wow". I'd rather see The Water Horse personally. ;)

Good to know its bearable, but they changed this

I'd really rather not "get munked." Thanks for ruining another fond childhood memory, Hollywood!

I wanna punch my TV everytime I see the commercial for this, it's so fucking annoying. I've yet to hear anything funny from those damn rats. I know I know, it's supposed to be a kids movie, but it just stirs within me a deep hatered, because of this:

Awe my 3-year-old does the same thing, along with the dance. I'm going to take him to see it and I'm glad to hear it wasn't a terribly painful movie for adults since I'll have to sit through it, too. It is very disheartening that they took something so right and made it something so.... yeah.. Poor children will never know what good entertainment is.
