Amaltheia Hide = Mine!!!

You're right, if it hits everyone in the party. If you're behind the tank, whos going to be the only one in range of the song when he starts retreating, you've got no problem.

But really, the only people who would even use that are those with tanks that aren't quick to respond to mob activity.
or tanks that got additional effect stunned or aoe stunned before he cast. This stun lasts 4-5 seconds, you can't outrun that with w.legs. Chlevnik could be solo-kited were it not for additional effect stun. It operates the same as KB...you try to run passed him, get in his attack zone, and he hits/stuns you. Barlightning all you want, you come close, you're gonna get whacked then meteored.

Edit: You could merit Fealty as a PLD to resist his stuns for 30 seconds every 15 minutes. So for 30 seconds I guess you're right, I'd feel safe doing it without endangering my alliance.

With multiple jobs able to tank, even if for a moment, getting nailed with meteor because of stun relies pretty much solely on AE Stun, which is almost guaranteed Meteor fodder in the first place because of the duration. Thats if he follows up with casting too, which is pretty slim.

It's not hard to notice when someones stunned, even if they don't communicate it. Regardless of all this arguing, I highly doubt SE designs encounters that rely on such a bottom of the barrel tactic.

I mean, look at Kirin. People obviously never even thought he could be tanked normally, and relied to using kiting. Lo and behold, people are tanking him normally.

This is based on what observations you've had? If it worked it'd be done. You go try this, go waste 99 seals doing it on baby-Kb and I'll join caerloc with popcorn.

Have as many tanks as you want.
The one who has hate is the one who is gonna get hit by added effect stun.
And subsequently the one who has hate is gonna be the one who's targeted with meteor.
And on a second note, he likes to follow up a thunderbreak with meteor more often then you think.
