Amazing Bass/Guitar Duel

That's sweet. Billy Sheehan has always been more than just a "solid" player. It's a certain style, but he's amazing at that. Pants are too tight for me though. And I prefer my neckerchief to match my monotone wristbands. Mmm'hmm. Stryper's got nada on this boy.

I got a chance to meet him with Stanley Clarke at the musicians institute in Cali years ago. Very nice guys.

I dunno if you are into this style in particular, but from a similar vein, I like Cacophony's first disc. Marty Friedman and Jason Becker when they were like 16 and 19 or something like that. KIDS...Whipping all sorts of ass. Marty Friedman was always one of my favorite guitar players, both in Megadeth and solo. Very distinct.
And GOD BLESS Jason Becker for battling ALS and being an extremely creative and inspirational human being.

Good stuff.
Billy Sheehan's older stuff with Talas is pure gold. It might be hard to find, but check out NV43345, Sink Your Teeth Into That, and the original version of Shy Boy.

And Paul Gilbert is highly under rated.
