Amazon's Kindle

[alanon]

Has anyone gotten one? I LOVE to read, and I was browsing thier site looking for new books by my favorite authors and came across this bad boy. I'm curious to see if it works as well as advertised.

I've been reading a lot about it, and I'm about 80% sure I'm going to get one eventually. I would like to hold one, just to try it out, before I did though.

I've seen the Sony version in a store, it's pretty nice. The kindle is supposed to be better technology though, since it doesn't drain power after drawing the page.
