Just who the hell IS that little black-cloaked Taru that appears in these cutscenes?!
Tangling with Fomors in Lufaise Meadows. The looks on their faces
still creep the hell out of me.
Doing Hakutaku Runs with LS. I'm Dual-Tanking Hakutaku with
Soujiro for my Hat.
Here I am with my group in the Sacrarium... But, umm... This isn't
the pic angle I was going for. Gilga changed armors in mid-picture...
And I got a snap of him in his frilly tighty-whitey diapers... But what is
that? Did Gilga doo-doo himself or something?
Another EXP party in Sky, this time with my right-hand man I've
known since the starting few months of FFXI, Mr. Waff (Belgarath).
We joke with Warick... Don't you think he's wearing a little too much
God gear? He's wearing the full set, it seems.
Our EXP party quickly turns into a "Kill Ulli" party. They can have the
Autumnstone, but it would've been nice if he dropped that Ulfhedinn Axe.
Another Dynamis - Beaucedine run. Some Valor Breeches drop.
Phazen died due to K.O. by a Charmed player at some point... Phazen's
wearing so much HP Down / MP Up gear that the Max HP is 3...
Angra Mainyu is finally killed... We all quickly pick up the key item before
the Dragons come back. We drop our hourglasses and leave before then,
satisfied with our victory in Dynamis - Beaucedine. Xarcabard, here we
come!
Even more antics in the Sacrarium!
Fighting the Boney Skeleton Lord "Keremet" for our key to dive deeper
inside. I eventually get Charmed by him...
Then we go up against Old Professor Mariselle to complete the Sacrarium,
and get the hell out of here.
We reach the depths of the Sacrarium, and stumble across a statue
of Promathia... The God of the Twilight.
POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT... Even though the dialogue being said
in the photo below is so out-of-context, that you probably don't even
know what's going on. So I guess it's OK.
A nice picture of a conversation with Tenzen as they head to the
Airships docked in Sea Lion's Den at the Safehold.
... It starts... Probably the longest, and most tedious chapter of the
Chains of Promathia series... "Chapter 5: The Return Home"...
I'll let you find out why I say that on your own.
A picture of the beautiful fourth Mothercrystal...
Just before I get sucked into Promyvion - Vahzl.
More POTENTIAL SPOILERS... But they're still out-of-context, so
you can't really tell what's going on.
I thought these were pretty nice shots of Nag'molada and Prishe.
The face-off with Ouryu I forgot to put up... We're about to whomp ass...
Or get our asses whomped...
Before entering the BCNM, Robyn decided to go AFK in Monarch Linn.
Gregor uses the opportunity to harass her, and try to rouse her from
her away status.
Ugghhh... Nothing like waking up naked inside the dream world, Promyvion.
Looks like our worst nightmares have come true.
POTENTIAL SPOILER... Bahamut's jibber-jabbering about something
or another. But I just thought I'd snap a picture... A nice overhead shot
of Bahamut and his Wyrm minions...
Afterwards, we were stoked that we set a new record for Ouryu; just
beating out a Japanese party that went in ahead of us.
Finally, reaching the Spire of Vahzl... We get a quick Cutscene. It's
not so much what the Cutscene's about, but we were in awe at the
nice visual effect of the floor weaving itself together like a throwrug.
And here we are inside the BCNM... Fighting the first three damned
bosses from the first three Promyvion areas...
Ugghhh... I never wanted to see them again.
Me hanging around Port Windurst, chilling with the Star Onion Brigade.
I finally got that Star Spindel and can get a Star Necklace.
A nice shot of the Mithra on the Manaclipper. Aside from the cute
little Lilac Corsage in her hair, she's wearing the Lv. 72 BRD JSE Body,
the Sha'ir Manteel... That Manteel's a rare sight, because if I'm not
mistaken, it's made from Cashmere Cloths... Dropped by Vrtra.
In Port San d'Oria, it's a beautiful shot of Ulmia... Doesn't she just
look absolutely stunning? *Drool*...
Finishing up the "Molvalpolos" end of Chapter 5, a nice shot of a
chat with Cid and the gang.
Okay... We did more of Chapter 5... (One of which is a BCNM in
Attowah Chasm >> Boneyard Gully). It's Versus 3 Mithras... What I
don't get however is if I did all my buffs... hit Utsusemi... and everything,
how do I DIE three seconds into the fight? Gregor tanked and hit
Invincible. How did I STILL get smacked down? ...Oh well... Atleast it's
done.
Something else that's interesting... I checked the BCNM... There was
people ahead of us who beat it... How did we get yet ANOTHER record?
Server Wipe, I'm assuming? Who knows...

Finally found that damnable Treasure Coffer in Ifrit's Cauldron...
Versus Disaster Idol.

It's finally arrived... Loveless (Ascensionz' Dynamis LS) preparing to
enter Dynamis - Xarcabard... Here I am getting the final Cutscene before
entering.
Everyone seems psyched about it, and we notice that a NEW BGM plays
instead of the typical Dynamis BGM. I note that it sounds similar to the
last few stages of "Final Fantasy Tactics".
We work our way towards the Dynamis-version of Castle Zvahl...
Barreling our way through the various mobs.
I win the lot on an EXP item and get a nice 450+ Experience Points...
Mariox lucks out and wins a Shard of Necropsyche. A RARE/EX item used
to upgrade a Relic Weapon to the FOURTH stage.
At the gate of the Castle.
Three minutes remaining on the clock. We pop Dynamis Lord.
But... Ummm... Dynamis Lord didn't spawn in until the very last
millesecond! Half of us saw him spawn, half of us didn't. This would
explain my final Dyna-Xarc Photo.
Oh well... I haven't seen the last of Dynamis Lord... Count on it!!
Chapter 6 of Chains of Promathia.
The Airship Triple-BCNM. Versus five Mammet-22s, Omega, then
Ultima.
Versus Omega.
Versus Ultima.

POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT
Prishe says a line I find quite funny. But I find out me and Bahamut
don't share the same humor, so he decides to blast my ass to kingdom
come.
Tenzen shows the true might of a Samurai and decides to finally help out.
Fallen sends his congratulations on a Job well done.
A nice screen of the fifth Mothercrystal.
And the sky high above...
...And so it begins. The final chapter before Al'Taieu...

I'm tired of getting my ass whomped and dying so many times.

I touch down in Al'Taieu... Finally... But I'm dead, though...
Friggin' FAG'molada doesn't even drop me a Raise with his mage-lookin'
self!
And thus, Chapter 8 kicks off with me Dying...
The Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi sits off in the distance; nestled
gently under the light of the Gate of the Gods that looms overhead
in the other-worldly sky.

Swig-a-licious.
We bear witness to even more bizzare, Sea Creature-esque
animals, as well as a strange bridge as we advance towards the
Palace.

Al'Taieu's kinda funky. The music sounds weird, and dream-like.
And the mobs are so friggin' weird...
I mean, you're walking across a frozen ocean... You can see trees in the
water beneath you, and a fish swimming here and there...
We spotted this huge, blue manta-ray looking mob that was sitting under
the sea that we were walking on...
We walked over to it... It did a backflip up from underneath the transparent
floor, and aggroed Robyn...
That was both odd and cool at the same time...
(YEAH!!! KILL ROBYN!!!)
