An interesting and rather ironic idea...

Gil buyers are kinda shooting themselves in the foot. Two months ago 1 million gil went a LOT farther than it does today. A level 24 ninja could have probably about the best, or very close to it, setup possible with less than that. Hairpin and boots would only have costed them 500k. Other gear maybe would have added up to 300k and add in Utsusemi and other ninjitsu and you have about a million gil. Today a million gil would get you hairpin(500k), boots (400k), and a pair of dodge earrings (50k each). Wow, that list is now kinda lacking. Im kinda happy about that hairpin cause I have one and now im trying to get ninja to 37 so I can sell it ^^. Might even jump to 600k...

Kk guys, I dont know about you but I think its more of principle than anything else anymore. I vote for starting small guys. Namely boots and/or hairpin. It would be all to easy to lower the price on these things ourselves, with only a lil initiative. I read on alla that one server, anti-ige people lowered snipers from a million to 500k. Why cant we do the same. Here is what i recommend. We set up a camping schedule. Get people to sign up for an hour or two and thats it. Sure its gonna hurt early on when you KNOW you could be getting 500k for that hairpin and putting it up for 350k or so, but you guys keep claiming that you want to do something about it, yet nobody does. We would have such a massive advantage this way. We can tell people when the last spawn was and we would stay fresh, more alert than others would. Only problem I could forsee is that some people would not camp fully but that would only hurt them. You obviously get all the money unless you chose to team up with whomever else was camping. Even might be able to turn others to your side and help out. If someone wants to make some sort of schedule or something and post it, that would be awesome as I dont have the software to do it.

Im not gonna do this if nobody else will. If you see my hairpin up later for 500k dont berate me because if you arent gonna do anything, why should I? I will camp this guy a lot, especially if I am getting help. I have a 50 Ranger/Thief so I could camp Emperor very well. Willing to split gil amongst whomever camps with me as long as you realize its not gonna be as much as possible. Later guys.

Actually I heard a group of BSTs from another server charmed stroper chyme and took turns keeping it charmed for a few days taking a shift then switching with another BST.

I've been thinking about doing this for a while. What I think is that someone should put the hairpin (or whatever else) up for sale and another person that's in on it should buy it for the lower price, then continue the cycle. Just saying that on the price history 1 350k vs. the rest 500k isnt going to inspire someone to put their hairpin up for 350k when they see that they can get 500k for it.

Now if I had a 6-digit gil supply, I'd help out with the AH stuff... and if I had time, I'd help out with the camping... But I have neither. >_<

Yes the auction house idea is a good one. I have actually thought about doing it but the problem is it requires a lot of money, changing hands a lot. I never intended to get ONE hairpin, I hoped this would become a community effort and we could all lower it together. You know, we camp it a lot and keep getting them and putting them up for the same price, until its down for good. It might go up again later, in fact it probably will, that is when QCDN can strike again.

I kinda changed my mind. I said if nobody else wanted to jump in, then I wouldnt even bother. I think that is kinda weak. I said I would do something with the help of others, but was not willing to do it on my own. That is a load of crap so I WILL go it alone if I have to. I am not sure how I will do it as I already have one, so I guess I will have to send it to a mule every time I go. So if anyone needs me, I will be camping the Emperor. Later guys.

Last thing. I do not intend to monopolize the drop on this thing either. Every time I go I will shout my intentions of lowering the price and see if anyone wants to team up. That way, even if somehow, I get the claim all the time and get the drops, someone else can share in the benefits with me.

I hope you know my good friend was the one was raised the prices on the hairpin. It's not the gil sellers to blame on that NM. Because you know some people have to make money also. Some peple might want to spend millions in gear you know, camping NM's is way to make money.

Now the Stomperchyme thing is way out hand Sonicteam and nuki's crew have gone way to far. I was there today and they were Training mobs calling for help and such.

If you can get people to trust you with your AH thing or get enough people to organize camp shifts I will congratulated you. Because when it all comes down to it everyone in this game is a selfish prick. We are all to blame for our greed, no matter how many times we point the fingers to others or deny it, it's true.

PS: On some servers snipers are 1.5millon (HQ are 7mil) and hairpins go for 1million+. Just be lucky you're on quez.

Only a matter of time the way I see it. Sure I wont need it pretty soon, so I am not really doing it for myself. This item might the ONE piece of "upper end" gear that some people might get. No reason that they shouldnt have a shot at it like all of us who were able to get it when it was 300k did.

I dont really think gil sellers are to blame on this one. If I said that it was a mistake. Gil sellers arent really the issue for me. I still have yet to need an item that they camp and raise the price on and being a ranger, I dont think there is one. I just dont want all the prices to skyrocket on every item in the game. I made a lot of money off him too, I camped him for a long time and made like 1.4 million. I hate doing it but its the fastest way for me to make money. So yeah it may be a hopeless cause, but oh well. So I will try for a couple days and get fed up. Then we have to listen to me or my ideas anymore ^^ :lol:

i would be more than happy to help on this one. for stroper chyme, i would be happy to get anything over 100k just because the simple fact, im broke. i dont care how much i get from the AH. i would go as low as 250k for it. (this goes for whatever else also)
