I response to Anttaru's thoughtful post:

Bill Gates hands out millions and millions of dollars, but I would not befriend him because of his negative actions against the whole computing industry (and beyond). A little generosity in the face of so much negative Karma really makes their kindess moot.

Bill Gates owns an operating system, that has such a good interface, no PC company would have survived without it. If he went to Compaq, we'd all probably be on Compaq machines. Alot of of software developers did not like the fact they had to make software to run under windows. When i was in College our net work was comprised of a fiber optix system with SGI O2's and Octains. All of that ran under Unix (which is very stable might i add) But PC's were selling thus making them more advanced than these 30,000 dollar machines for a heck of alot cheaper. Half way through the coarse we were happy as fuck to have gotten PC's running duel Xeons and alot of high graphic hardware, but to top it all off, we were even more happy to have Windows NT happening.
Sure Stevie apple and Bill had their tiff in the past, but Bill owned it, and today he's resented for changing the face of an entire feild. of developers.

I am sure they are nice PEOPLE, but too bad their actions speak so loud, I cannot hear a word they say.

LOL this is so true. I was just about to start a thread about he worst player's you have ever partied with but found my contents within. He is a horrible PLD, wasnt voking, etc. I finally got pissed, told the mages, "haste me", slapped on defender, and off I was tanking for the pty.
