An interesting POL post - Happy Valentine's Day.

It's not a whole lot, thats for sure, but it's a good start. At least they're doing something about it now... makes me wonder what kind of proof they got.

I have 3 Gilsellers in my LS, one of them i have become good friends with, while the others pretty much come when i have a job for them to do.

Today i was asked by a friend, if i can lend them 800,000 G. Noticing the absance of the gilsellers in my LS, after this POL messege, i suddenly became paronid to follow through with the lending. God knows i'm a suspect in the eyes of S.E.

Lately a few of the Gil sellers in my LS havn't been on much as of late. So i don't know for sure if they got banned at this point in time. Maybe they are spending time celebrating Chinese New Year with their Family and Friends.

Without defending them i'd like to mention a few comments about my in game relations with these Gil sellers.

-Why do a occociate with these Gil sellers ?

I'm considered a complusive NM hunter, i'd say 100% of the time it's very hard to round up peopele who are interested in killing HNMs nuff said. However when i do hunt HNMs, 1 of the 3 Gil sellers are strong enough to come, and is the first one on sight while i often find myself begging my own friends to come. You wouldn't believe how many people say "oh it's probably too late" or "Ask me later...Oh now ? I can't i gotta do a quest"...Meanwhile they could have come cause i was staring at the HNM for 25 minutes. things like this has also happened when i planned Behemoth hunts, even after spending 9 hours in a week getting TOD because of people having a skill up feista on Behemoth. Right now i can only dream of the possibilities if my Gil selling players all were strong enough to come.

- Suprisingly they are very sharing.

Namely, Babylove and i usually hunt alot. and we split the drop 50/50, unless, say i actually wanted to keep the item for synthisis. a one million gil item would then be mine for 400k. This person has also said to me how they no longer are a gil seller, and only wants to play the game. When Babylove hasn't a party, he can be found in Beadeaux hunting Ga'Bhu Unvanquished, like he use to. I think it's because it's the only NM he has interest in, due to getting alot of masks in the past, and it's also soloable in comparison to some of the HNMs we have faced.

- Farming freak.
Ok this is pretty much what all the peoples hate comes down to, and i'm not willing to defend it either. Mimibaby is one hard working mofo. She will be out there non stop farming her life away. Mimibaby and i don't talk much, but when we do, i have a sence that this here is the greatest person in the world to hunt with. She is too weak to do HNMs, and i often ask her to level up. In a mear fraction of the time she spends farming, she makes more with me in a few hours, if i were to go do Amemet. I don't understand why this person will not Level up, when they know they can make more gil. I sometimes imagine it's her job to remain in one place. I guess they are trying to keep a steady deadline. Other day she called me boss... I was like "Whoa, no one here is the boss we are all the same ok."

- Super tool of the future
The other is a PLD, he use to be level 50 and hunted Poision Handed gnadgnad almost as much as Mimi smashes Quadav. Now he's interested in more adventurous NMing, and is currently level 59. Eoel always came across to me as a nice guy, always bowing and only speaks when spoken too. He is Rank 2 and needs to find a party for Bastok kill the dragon mission, he rides chocobos everywhere. So i told him i would help him with these missions. He is very happy about that, considering they arn't good at meeting people. Yesterday i logged in Beadeux, and noticed him and Mimi were in the area, so i decided to go see what these two were doing. Mimi ran by busy as she makes herself as Eoel out of the blue stoped what he was doing and gave me a Dodge Earring as a present. How so very fuzzy of him to just hand over 40,000 G. And like before they would refuse to take back what they have given. Mimi and Babylove have got to be connected cause they are gone at the same time, and are on at the same time. I can't imagine Eoel being online when they are not there either.

As it turns out, these people are not on my bad side, and i can understand why they are disliked. I don't care about Gil sellers, and i don't care about Gil buyers. When things cost so much in this game i love to play, i don't care who you are, you can come hunting with me. Gil sellers in my exsperiences with them, do make good allys when it comes to organized hunting.
My LS is not for Gil farmers, but i accept them the same. These 3 stick to the LS like white on rice, more than anyone else to a point where if i log in and no one is in there to greet me, then something has got to be wrong. I do value their realibility, and developed frendships. If they are gone, they will be missed, and i can only continue my search for more hunting power in my LS.

Aside from all this, i do not wish to be taken for a Gil farmer by S.E. and get my account revolked. Reason why i never lent my friend 800k when i'm known for lending out half that sum, is because there might be the posibility i'm being survailed by GMs, who are itchy to round up thier catches. Evidentally i have plenty of Gil, and i for all i know the Gil farmers in my LS have fuck all, to a GM i can be the root of the operation, and if i so much as give away such a sum, it may trigger an even more in-depth investigation on my ass. Providing there is one.

Some of you may despise me for taking advantage of this opertunity to have excellent hunters for my personal gain, in other words from what i have said, i don't give a damn if you are a Gil seller or not, if you want to get rich so you have have your fancy Weapons and items your not too far from being like me.
 
hehe ^^ Babylove and Mimibaby are very nice. I don't care if they are gilsellers.. gilsellers don't bother me at all unless they are assholes..
 
I have had my run ins with EOEL while camping Mee Deggi the Punisher. I've beaten him to spawns he has done the same to me. People dislike gill sellers cause of how hard it is to get those NM drops. I was camping Mee Deggi AGAIN (curently 0-13) It was me and Blackdragon, well he beat me to the Mee Deggi spawn dew to him having flee . If he wasen't I would have gotten the claim. Blackdragon seems likes a nice person just doping his job, but i still don't condone what gill sellers do.
 
I agree.. it does spoil the fun.. but I feel less annoyed when they are nice people. Like blackdragoon.. I have beaten him to claims before and as I was fighting he was cheering me on ^^ especially since I beat other people who were there too
 
I mostly don't give a damn about how gil sellers are, nice or rude, whatever. It's what they do that pisses me off, and makes me hate them all the same.

If I'm camping an NM, and someone beats me to it that's good and all, if he's going to use it or sell it to buy that armor he's been dying for. He's a fellow player who cares about the game.

But gil sellers, they do it just for the profit... they really don't care about the game 99% of the time, hell it even seems they have a timeshare on most of the charie. and even then 90% they resort to rude tactics to get their gil. Look at it this way.. say that Osode off Kirin drops, and you want it bad because you can use it, and it's godly. How would you feel if some guy who's level 60 and can't even use it because of his class (just bear with me now, I know this is very unlikely to be allowed but let's say it is) gets it.. and every knows on top of all that he's quiting the next day and not giving anyone jack.

What a waste of a drop,yeah? I'd be pissed, even if I didn't get the osode I'd want it to go to someone who would USE it one way or another.

Bill Gates hands out millions and millions of dollars, but I would not befriend him because of his negative actions against the whole computing industry (and beyond). A little generosity in the face of so much negative Karma really makes their kindess moot.

I am sure they are nice PEOPLE, but too bad their actions speak so loud, I cannot hear a word they say.

hehe... I think those that actually will use it and not sell it are in priority to all others XD so if there was any fairness in it it would go

using themselves -> giving to a friend to use -> selling for other armor or synthesis -> for shits and giggles o.o (just for the fun of the fight)

hehe... that's how I'd think NMs in fairness should be.. but things aren't fair >< anyways.. in terms of gilsellers.. there are those that want to actually better their characters while making gil to sell. Babylove seems very much to be one of these people. She sells gil but tells me of things she wants...hehe..
 
Like i said Blackdragon seems like a nice person , but i still don't condone there actions. I want a dam Ochiudos Kote so bad but im not paying the price
that its current;y selling at.
 
I only want an Ochiudos Kote to give to my love when he goes Monk.. so in my little world of fairness.. you'd get it first ^^v

I wonder is this is related to the massive disconnect we got last night.

I was farming in ZiTah with Onions for the hell of it and about 10-15 minutes after starting getting like only 1 gobbue from the 2-3 there were there bam disconnect. 15 min later me and Him are back on and rushing to kill all the gobbues in sight before the otheres that were there get back... Which they never did. Eventually gave up and went to check out Ro'Maeve and the Hall of the Gods (Got a sick screen there)
 
I'm glad the rude gilsellers are gone (i.e. Sonicteam and co., the fox clan (at least I think they're gone), etc). A single gilseller doesn't bother me - he does what he can to get gil, same as anyone else. He just uses the gil for something different. The rude gilsellers that monopolize NMs and use underhanded tactics to claim NMs (such as training a horde of monsters on to Mee Deggi's spawn platform) are the ones that need to go.

However, I just want to say something about Eoel... worst PLD I ever partied with. I partied with him once and he did the worst job I ever saw a PLD do. He was rank 1 at the time, and had no AF at level... 57-ish, I think it was. Couldn't hold hate at all. Honestly I wouldn't invite him to a party at all unless we were -that- depserate for a tank.
 
Not to mention all the items and gil thay had on account at the time.
